This creates a welcoming and supportive environment.

- Direct Access to Biking Trails: A major draw for outdoor enthusiasts, the campground boasts a "trail directly behind the campground." This paved trail is "18.5 miles in total" and connects to "several other trails," offering "quite amazing" opportunities for cycling.
- Proximity to Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower: Being "directly next to the Lewis and Clark tower" allows for an "easy walk" to a significant historical and scenic landmark, providing immediate recreational and educational value.
- Ideal for Workers/Long-Term Stays: The campground is "amazing" for those "traveling and working at the refinery" or other local industries, providing a convenient, traffic-free commute and a stable base for extended periods.
- Quiet Environment (with future improvements): While "some highway noise" is present, the campground is noted as "clean and quiet." The owners have proactively planted "70 white pines," which will grow to help mitigate road noise, demonstrating a commitment to improving the guest experience.
- Spacious Sites Compared to Competitors: One reviewer explicitly contrasts it with another campground, stating that at 5 Diamond, you don't "step out of your camper place your hand on your neighbors slide," implying more comfortable spacing between sites.

While specific, publicly advertised "promotions" in the form of traditional discounts are not explicitly detailed in the provided information, 5 Diamond Campgrounds' business model and customer-centric approach offer inherent value and potential for savings, especially for longer stays:
- Flexible Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Rates: The availability of daily, weekly, and monthly rates allows campers to choose the most cost-effective option for their stay duration. Longer-term stays often come with a lower per-night cost, which serves as a de facto "special offer" for extended visits or temporary work assignments.
- Long-Term Stay Value: For "traveling and working at the refinery" or other local jobs, the monthly rates likely provide significant savings compared to hotel accommodations, making it a very economical choice for transient workers.
- Customer-Driven Inventory: The willingness of the staff to "carry something particular" in their stocked store if requested is a unique customer service "offer" that adds value by ensuring convenience for specific needs without extra cost to the camper beyond the item itself.
- Potential for Future Amenities Without Immediate Price Hikes: As a newer campground, the mention of potential future additions like a "shower house and laundry area" or a "small dog park" implies ongoing investment in amenities. While not a current "promotion," it suggests added value for future stays without necessarily incurring immediate price increases as the campground matures.
For the most precise information on current pricing structures and any unadvertised offers, it is always recommended to contact 5 Diamond Campgrounds directly by phone. Their friendly staff would be the best source for details on rates for different durations or any new value-added services they might be introducing.

Customer Reviews
This was a good location for traveling through, wanting to see a few sights in St. Louis. It is a basic, gravel campground. You need to be self-contained. We were in site 10. The hookups were all behind our parking space, so would have required multiple hoses, etc. Doable, but since we were only there 1 night, we opted to only hook up electric (we needed the a/c!). Easy drive into St. Louis to check out The Arch. Easy walk to the Louis & Clark Confluence Tower. Office staff was friendly and helpful when we were making reservations. OK for overnight or two. Other campers were friendly and seemed to be there for a longer period - working. Some highway noise. GREAT Verizon signal and internet!!!
Great place to stay clean and quiet other than the noise from the road but they do have 70 white pines planted just gonna take them a little while to grow and it’ll definitely help. If you like to bike no better campground with the trail directly behind the campground. 18.5 miles in total but you can get to several other trails to here it’s quite amazing. Directly next to the Lewis and Clark tower. Yes this is a new campground so I would imagine there would be more to come down the road as they hear request and reviews. The staff is above and beyond friendly. Like probably one of the friendliest I’ve ever dealt with and I travel a lot in my camper. They do offer a drop off laundry service. A camper cleaning service. They will grocery shop for you if you need it. There is a stocked store with basics and if you would like them to carry something particular they will. As for the campground down the road with more amenities and 100$ cheaper I have stayed there and when you step out of your camper you can place your hand on your neighbors slide while still standing on your last step. If you’re traveling and working at the refinery this is amazing you are six minutes from the job. With pretty much no traffic. I’m on my third month here and have no real complaints. It would be nice to see a shower house and laundry area down the road and possibly a small dog park because quite a few of us have dogs out here. Oh the Internet is also really good but the way you have to sign onto it kind of stinks but they said they are working on changing that.
Talk about LOCATION. There is almost an unlimited amount of well kept mowed grass. Between 5 Diamond and the Tower (park with tables, shade and a garden!) gorgeous sunsets and an endless trail right behind the RV park! Has a side road infront of it with very little traffic. Stayed here for 1 month. Great location easy access to 270. Office always is staffed and my packages arrived with no issues. Got a text whenever I had a package for pickup at the office. Quick drive into Edwardsville for all your needs. Or Walmart and Aldi in Wood River. Some road noise during the day. And the train whistle can be repetitive. I just ran a fan. Wifi worked good for streaming our tv about every time I used it. (Every evening) Spot, electric, wifi and full hookups are included. Some pull through and some back in. No amenities. Port-a-potties were locked. Laundromat isn’t far and is good.
Newly opened Oct 2020, and great for working travelers. Not for kids at all. It's called a Campground but I disagree with this. Camping to me is not a large gravel parking lot. No other way to describe it. If yur active tho, great for walking, and if u have pets... Sits next to Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower, and the visitor center is just down the road, the levee walk path takes u right to it or u can drive there. The Levee is right behind RV sites. All paved pathway and my dogs love to run loose back and forth down the back-side while I walk. Well, as long as no one else is around that is. 😉 Great for bicycling to! I saw another review stating things like, "too expensive, not happy w/the place, no where to walk yur dog, no laundry facility, etc, etc...." $600 mnthly, all utilities paid is pretty standard. $175 wkly is as well. And while they don't have a shower house or laundry facilities "on site", Susie does offer a laundry "service". U can drop off dirty clothes and pick up clean ones. That's awesome for guys working long hrs. If u prefer to do yur own, there's a laundromat just down the road in the town of Woodriver. Maybe 5-10min away. Clean w/working machines that don't cost u arm & leg. Park IS nxt to noisy hwy (Rt 3) but... When AC or heat running I can barely hear any of it. Also it's a new park, gonna take a bit for those new trees to grow😉. Now as far as another park being just down the road that include amenities for $100 less a month? Not sure where unless it's the KOA. Haven't been there, so may be true, but, it's a seasonal park and is only open April thru Oct. 5 Diamonds is open all year round. Ya don't find that often in this area. And with that said... We're from the area but went full-time just under three yrs ago. This new park for us is actually really beneficial because we've had rough time finding decent place to stay while back in area for work. We usually end up in Mobile Home park. Not so fun. Places u stay are only what u make them, and remember that when u leave trash laying around, or have a pet u don't clean up after. Be a responsible guest! Other guests appreciate it as well as Susie, (Park manager).
Basically a chat parking lot for 750$ a month right on the highway. Owned by a rv dealership with a rude receptionist. Full hook up and the sound of the factory’s in the area are great :) not nurse friendly. They also offer a bathhouse for the 50+ spots and its two porta potty that hobos sleep in and there disgusting because they never clean it or empty it. Yes They will charge you for breathing their air. They pack you in like sardines you barely get a front “yard” to park your vehicle or a extra vehicle
