Blytheville RV Park, based on customer reviews, appears to be a no-frills, functional RV park best suited for those seeking a basic place to park overnight or for a short stay. It is characterized by its simplicity, focusing on providing essential hookups rather than extensive amenities or manicured landscapes. Reviews indicate that the park operates on a budget-conscious model, which can translate to a more affordable rate, appealing to travelers prioritizing cost-effectiveness and convenience over luxury. While some feedback points to areas needing improvement in terms of maintenance and aesthetics, other comments highlight positive interactions with staff and the park's utility as a convenient stop. It is crucial for prospective visitors to approach Blytheville RV Park with realistic expectations, understanding that its primary value lies in its pragmatic location for a quick and necessary stop on a journey.
Blytheville RV Park is located at 102 S Porter Dr, Blytheville, AR 72315, USA. Blytheville is a significant city in Mississippi County, situated in the northeastern part of Arkansas. This region is known for its flat terrain, rich agricultural industry, and strategic location near major transportation routes, making it a key point for travelers passing through.
The park's address on S Porter Dr suggests it's positioned for easy access, likely near a main road or highway. Blytheville itself is well-connected by U.S. Route 61 (the "Blues Highway") and Interstate 55, a major north-south interstate that runs through the heart of the country. This excellent connectivity makes Blytheville RV Park a convenient stop for RVers traveling on I-55, offering a quick exit and re-entry to the highway, minimizing travel time and making it ideal for overnight stays.
Its location within Blytheville means guests have relatively easy access to the city's amenities, including gas stations, convenience stores, and possibly local dining options. While the park itself might experience some noise due to its highway proximity (as noted by a reviewer about traffic and trains), its straightforward accessibility for larger RVs is a clear advantage for those simply needing a place to rest during their journey through Northeast Arkansas. The flat topography of the area also ensures easy maneuvering and leveling of RVs.
Based on the provided customer reviews and the nature of Blytheville RV Park as a "no-frills" establishment, there are no specific promotions or special offers explicitly mentioned. RV parks of this type typically focus on straightforward, affordable daily rates rather than complex discount programs.
However, given the mention of "13 full time renters," it is highly probable that Blytheville RV Park offers discounted rates for extended stays (e.g., weekly or monthly rates) compared to its daily rate of $40 per night. This is a common practice for parks that cater to long-term residents or those working in the area.
It is always recommended for potential guests to contact Blytheville RV Park directly via phone to inquire about current rates, any available extended-stay discounts, or any other specific terms that might be applicable. Direct communication is the best way to get the most accurate and up-to-date pricing and information for your planned visit, setting appropriate expectations for your stay.

It is strongly advised to call the park directly, especially if you have specific concerns about site conditions, utility functionality, or if you plan to stay during extreme weather conditions where water lines might freeze. While reviews suggest the park's upkeep is basic, direct communication can help you confirm details and ensure your needs can be met before arrival.
For Arkansans, particularly those traveling through or working in Northeast Arkansas, Blytheville RV Park offers a suitable option primarily due to its practical location and basic functionality. While reviews highlight significant concerns regarding maintenance, cleanliness, and noise, it remains a pragmatic choice for a specific type of RVer: one who prioritizes convenience and affordability above all else and is prepared for a "no-frills" experience.
Its main strength lies in its ability to serve as a quick, accessible stop for those on the road, especially given its location in Blytheville, a city strategically positioned along major routes. For individuals who simply need essential hookups (electricity, water, sewer, assuming they are fully operational) for an overnight or very short stay, and who are self-sufficient in their RVs, it can fulfill that basic need. The existence of "13 full time renters" also suggests that for some, the park serves as a long-term, possibly budget-friendly, base despite its shortcomings.
It’s suitable for locals who understand that they are choosing a practical, economical stop rather than a resort-style experience. If your primary goal is to find a spot with hookups near Blytheville, and you are comfortable managing with basic amenities and potential noise, Blytheville RV Park serves that purpose. For those attending events like an "antique bus rally" where location is key and the park is just a place to sleep, it can "work for us" as one reviewer stated. It's a reminder that sometimes, the most basic option is precisely what's needed for a quick transition or a utilitarian stay in "The Natural State."

Don’t stay here! The place is unkempt with broken equipment and no pride in ownership. Trash everywhere. Shedded plastic from past mowing. Not recent either. Welding debris from sign work. No one has the time for sweeping. Or grass cutting. I read the reviews and I brought my electric weed eater and blower. It’s a noisy place. If you’re lucky, traffic will slack off and you can hear the train. $40 per night. 13 full time renters. 2 open spaces had damaged 30 amp oulets and space 10 50 amp outlet had one leg out. On the good side, we elected to stay here for 3 nights. Everyone was very nice to us. And we would stay again. We’ve driven past this place many, many times but never needed to stop. We came here for the antique bus rally. I see the owner has disavowed our stay. This place is typical in that a quality business cannot be supported and closes. In comes some East Indian and pays nothing for a failing business. They cut expenditures and offer cut-rate services. Thus you get a dirty environment, broken equipment and few services. I gave the place 4 stars only because we chose those conditions. That doesn’t mean the place was good.
Sep 30, 2020 · William E.If you have to camp, then stop, but don't plan on much. Just electricity because the water was frozen and the sewer was never found due to snow and ice. Noisy because on the highway!
Feb 21, 2021 · Dave SasseI have been here for about 11 months. The staff are really good people. If I have an issue they go out of the way to assist or accommodate. The hotel manager Christy is on spot.
Jun 27, 2019 · Paul PembertonThis is basically a big parking lot with hook-ups that sits next to a rundown motel. Personally I would stay on the highway a little longer and find something a little more secure
Sep 06, 2017 · Troy Comptonnosey right by highway, when trucks park in the lot in front of you TV cant pick up signal, they have no wifi or cable, the hotel next door owns it and their employees are real nice, I would stay there again because it the only rv park in town and its concrete
