For many, the simplicity and convenience of a park like Shearin RV Park are precisely what’s needed when navigating the highways of Arkansas.
Arkansas, known as "The Natural State," provides a diverse landscape, from the Ozark Mountains to the Mississippi River Delta. Blytheville, situated in the delta region, serves as a strategic point for travelers on major north-south routes. Shearin RV Park’s location within Blytheville aims to provide easy access for these travelers, ensuring a minimal detour from their planned routes. While reviews suggest it's more suited for quick stays or long-term residents rather than a resort-style experience, its functionality remains a significant draw for its target audience.
The park operates with a focus on providing essential services, understanding that for many RVers, the primary need is a safe and accessible place with necessary hookups. Feedback often highlights the genuine helpfulness of the owner, despite the park sometimes being stretched for resources. Let's delve deeper into what makes Shearin RV Park a suitable option for RVers in Arkansas, particularly those seeking convenience and affordability.
Shearin RV Park is conveniently located at 2965 US-61, Blytheville, AR 72315, USA. This address places it directly on U.S. Route 61, a significant north-south highway that runs through the Mississippi Delta region. Being in Blytheville means guests have access to local amenities such as gas stations, convenience stores, and possibly some dining options within a short driving distance. While the immediate surroundings of the park on US-61 might be more industrial or commercial, the ease of pulling off the highway and getting settled is a distinct advantage, particularly for a quick overnight stay. The straightforward access makes it a functional choice for those prioritizing convenience on their journey.

- Cash Payment Discounts: Some smaller, independently run parks offer slight reductions for cash payments.
- Seasonal Rates: Prices might vary slightly depending on the time of year, though less likely to be a significant factor for a park focusing on necessity.

Customer Reviews
We had the same end spot posted on other reviews. We liked it, wasn't the pull thru we ask for. Desperately needs gravel!! Laundry was OK. 4 washers, 2 broken. Met owner. Very nice, he is just needs help!!
Decent spot for a quick stay, but not much going on. 3.5 stars... a little better than okay but didn't necessarily 'like' it. Mainly long-term folks. Wanted to get a pull through & was told there were plenty when I called an hour before my arrival but when I arrived there was only 1 back in spot available bc the people that live there had their cars & trucks parked in all the empty spots! They saw us driving around, but no one offered to make space for us. We just parked in the only back-in available at the very end of the campground. Would only stop for a 1 nighter again if I had to.
May 26, 2025 After full-time RVing for over 14 years and normally moving every two weeks, we've run into many RV parks, good and bad including some that catetrd to full-time residents and traveling workers. The nicest things about this park are the website and the manager. We called several days early for our four night stay and requested a site near the shower house as we are both partially handicapped but try to walk when we can. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find we were at the far end of the park away from the showers. The manager did comp one night for the mixup. The good side is we only had neighbors on one side and farmland on two. The down side: there were hardened ruts from previous visitors which made it dangerous for us (I did try to level the ruts out with a rake, but it was too hardened) and there was a dog that ran loose except when the (presumable) owner yelled for it, reminiscent of Marlon Brando in Streetcar Named Desire bellowing for Stella. The park is poorly maintained even allowing for a change in ownership and management in 2024, i.e. trash scattered, a weathered piece of plywood over a window in the structure near the office, two partially full trash bags spilling off the golf cart by the office there for at least two days, a mangled bumper and large piece pf delaminated plywood on the ground by the dumpster, overgrown plants and weeds around the office, no toilet tissue in the restroom/shower (yes, singular) and a dismal feel to the entire place, all for the tidy sum of $40 a night.
This is very well located. Under new management. Has a laundry building and a single bath house. You can stay here one night or up to a lifetime.
A nice park. The owner and managers are very nice. Laundry is kept clean. $2 to wash and $2 to dry. Only once was a washer out of order. Didn't use the restroom there but I'm betting it was clean too. We absolutely loved our neighbors. They had a crayfish boil and invited us over. Good sized yard. I loved the "stray" dog (Princess) so much that had she been there when we left, I'd have snatched her up. We would definitely absolutely 100% stay here again.
