Came in after hours and they were kind enough to accommodate my dog and I.
Sep 18, 2025 · greg murphyNice place. Stayed there one night on our way through the area. A quiet, relaxed campground with lots of seasonal guests, one of whom welcomed us when we arrived because the owner was out. Would stay again.
Aug 16, 2024 · Steve SchramlNice family campground with a good mix of seasonal and weekenders. Pool and playground are in pretty good shape. Place is on the smaller side so it feels a little more intimate than those huge campgrounds.
Jul 08, 2024 · Dan SavageReally nice campground. We had a wonderful time during our stay and everyone - especially the owner - was very friendly and welcoming. Great access to hiking and an easy drive to Albany. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Jul 19, 2023 · Tom AlteNice older lady runs the place, there's a charming caboose that unfortunately isn't being used for the office anymore because of stupid paranoid New York covid rules. The campground is planted right on a river and the feeling here is quiet and peaceful.... We arrived on a warm night after a strong rain and saw a hundred or more fireflies blinking near the bridge! The only thing I didn't like was the field sites, even the electric ones--the sites are completely open to sun and broiling hot by 10 am, so I'd recommend making sure you're in a shaded over site if its summertime. Other than the shade problem, no complaints!!
