Bob and Kathy are amazing hosts. They sent us a Christmas Card in December of 2024 after attending in April of 2024. That is thoughtful and kind. People don’t do that anymore and that gesture has stuck with us. Life got in the way and I don’t think I ever sent a thank you, but a thank you deserves to be said. Thanks for an amazing 23rd birthday rafting session.
Apr 19, 2025 · Reagan RobertsProbably the best part of our three week/3 states camping trip. Had everything we needed. Met some awesome people including staff. Loved making our own campfire with rocks from brook and sitting around it at night. Rafting was fun but cold water in May. Highly recommend this laid back little secret place!!
Mar 07, 2023 · Debra WescottThank you to Bob Cathy and Mitch for taking care of our crew for 2023 camping and rafting! What a beautiful place to spend the week outside taking in all it has to offer! Rafting is my favorite part and we always have fun!! They give great advice on what to do outside of the campground too so don’t forget to stop at the office and have chat! We miss you already!! ❤️❤️❤️. The store is packed with things you may forget and lots of great looking T shirts Hoodies etc, adults and kid sizes! Drinks and candy too
Sep 12, 2023 · Lisa WootenBrookside is great! Bob and Kathy are very kind and accommodating. They have a store on site with some supplies, firewood, etc. Bathhouse is very clean. Showers are on the small side, but have plenty of hot water and do the job. The campground itself is just off the road, but you have to drive down an easy slope to get there, it's surrounded by trees, and traffic isn't bad at all, so road noise is practically nonexistent. A peaceful creek runs through the middle of the campground. We set our tent alongside it. Was great unzipping the door and seeing that first thing in the morning. Some sites have electric/water, others do not. Just let them know what you need when you book it. I think every site has a picnic table, which came in handy when it rained and we had to keep stuff off the ground. Will definitely return!
Nov 09, 2020 · lowercasedangerThis was the perfect experience for our family's first outing white water rafting. Even the little boys enjoyed it. Despite the rain during our last mile or two it was an absolute pleasant experience. Be sure to tip your guide if you have one go with you down the river. If not for our guide, we would have been in the water several times. Thanks so much for the beautiful day!
