Camperville About

For Minnesotans who truly embrace the outdoor lifestyle, finding a campground that offers more than just a place to park your RV or pitch a tent is a cherished discovery. Camperville, nestled in the scenic area of Mora, MN, is precisely that kind of destination. It’s a place where the spirit of community thrives amidst the natural beauty of Minnesota, offering a truly unique camping experience that goes beyond the ordinary. Minnesota's identity is deeply intertwined with its vast natural landscapes, from its iconic lakes to its lush forests. For many of us, camping is not merely a vacation; it's a way to reconnect with nature, bond with family and friends, and unwind from the daily grind. Camperville embodies this ethos, aiming to provide a dynamic and welcoming environment where these connections flourish. As a 100% seasonal membership campground, it fosters a strong sense of belonging, making it a perfect long-term retreat for those who wish to make their outdoor adventures a regular part of their lives. It's a place designed to create lasting memories and cultivate a true "up north" experience right here in our beloved home state.

Camperville is conveniently located at 2351 310th Ave, Mora, MN 55051, USA. This prime location places it in the beautiful northwoods of Minnesota, offering a serene escape while remaining accessible for residents across the state. Mora itself is a charming town, providing a friendly backdrop for your outdoor adventures. The campground's address ensures a straightforward journey, allowing you to quickly immerse yourself in the natural tranquility and community spirit that Camperville offers.

The accessibility of Camperville is a significant advantage for local Minnesotans. While offering the peace and natural beauty of a secluded retreat, it's positioned to be within reasonable driving distance for many, including those from the Twin Cities area (approx. 75 minutes north). This means less time spent on the road and more time enjoying the array of activities and the relaxing atmosphere of the campground. Being near Mora also means convenient access to local services, shops, and attractions, including larger lakes like Mille Lacs and casinos, should you wish to explore beyond the campground's boundaries. This balance of quietude and convenience makes Camperville an ideal choice for regular seasonal enjoyment for Minnesotans.

Camperville prides itself on offering a comprehensive suite of services and amenities designed to enhance the seasonal camping experience and foster a vibrant community atmosphere.

  • Seasonal Memberships: As a 100% seasonal membership campground, Camperville provides members with their own "wooded campsite, complete with all utilities," offering a stable and personalized base for their outdoor enjoyment throughout the camping season.
  • Private Lake Access: Members have exclusive access to their "private Lake Full of Fish," which is described as a "spring-fed" oasis with "clear" water, perfect for fishing (walleye, crappies, bass, northern), swimming, paddling, or simply floating.
  • Utility Hookups: All 150 generous, naturally nestled sites come with electricity, and likely other essential utilities such as water and sewer, common for seasonal RV sites.

Camperville truly shines with its unique features and highlights, creating an environment that encourages relaxation, community, and fun.

  • Private, Wooded Sites: Unlike many RV campgrounds, Camperville emphasizes that they "haven't cleared the oaks, maples and pines to make room for more tiny camp sites." Instead, their "150 generous sites are naturally nestled in thick, beautiful woods providing unmatched privacy and serenity." This commitment to preserving natural beauty is a major draw.
  • Vibrant Community Events: Reviews explicitly mention a "jam packed" events calendar with "special events like Bingo, cards, summer craft fair booths for kids fair, bands and dancing, Potlucks and picnic days." This fosters a lively and engaging atmosphere, making it more than just a place to park.

  • Opportunity for Privacy and Socialization: Camperville offers a balance, allowing campers to enjoy the "privacy of your own camp site" or "meet your fellow campers" through organized activities.
  • Proximity to Local Attractions: While providing a secluded feel, Camperville is still a "short drive to Mille Lacs and casinos," offering options for off-site entertainment and exploration.

As a seasonal membership campground, Camperville's promotions and special offers are typically structured around its membership model rather than nightly or weekly specials. To understand the full scope of what's included in a seasonal membership and any potential incentives for new members, it is highly recommended to contact Camperville directly. They may offer specific rates based on site size or utility options, or have promotions for early bird registrations for the upcoming season. Given the mention of various community events, membership likely includes access to these activities, which in themselves are a significant value. Inquiring about "Membership" on their official channels would be the best approach to discover all available options and benefits.

My aunt had let me visit her site one summer several years ago. It was quite honestly not only one of my favorite camping experiences, but probably one of my favorite experiences of my life so far. I stayed around the 4th of July. They had a special event going on, fireworks and music. Pretty fun. From what i remember they had this fun little building with billiards and arcade machines and just a whole bunch of stuff. Swimming pool and a spot on the lake to swim. There's so much to do! I'm not one to have a sharp memory, but i can tell you i remember just about everything about this place. Hopefully I've helped determine your vacation plans this summer!

Camperville - where do I begin? Camperville is one of the last classic camp sites around! It is the highlight of summer nights and weekends. Their lots sizes for campers are mich larger than their competitors and it's a full service experience - the perfect mid-point from traditional camping and staying in a hotel. They are just over an hour straight north of the cities which makes a quick getaway possible whenever you see fit. Camperville is situated on a private lake with exceptional fishing and a beach area, outdoor pool, arcade and gaming area and small general store. You are able to rent annually, or you can rent a weekend spot as well. There is a boat landing on the lake. If you're looking to do much more than fish or swim, this won't be your favorite lake. Knife lake, a more recreational lake is minutes south along with dining options. The management does a great job hosting a multitude of events including dances and community dinners. I highly recommend Camperville to anyone who is in the market for a space!

The owner is extremely rude to new customers. I would never ever recommend going here. You must pay to visit family in the campground. There were mice all over the main building. Better places to stay elsewhere.
