As a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) managed campground within Pomona Lake State Park, Carbolyn Park Campground typically operates with standardized fee structures rather than frequent promotional offers. However, the pricing itself is quite competitive, offering significant value for the amenities and natural beauty provided.
Current campsite fees are generally $20.00 per night for electric sites from May through September. Non-electric (primitive) sites may be available at a lower rate, typically around $12-$14 per night. These rates are considered affordable, especially given the access to Pomona Lake and the available facilities like showers and dump stations.
For those with qualifying passes, such as the America the Beautiful – National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Senior Pass or Access Pass, discounts on camping fees may be available. It is always recommended to verify current rates and any potential discounts directly with the campground management or through the Recreation.gov website when making reservations. While specific "promotions" in the traditional sense might not be advertised, the consistent, budget-friendly pricing and the value offered by the natural setting and amenities serve as an ongoing draw for campers.

Customer Reviews
This was such a fun place to Kayak. The campground was smaller and sites are a bit close but the waterway was amazing! Great fishing location as they jumped all around us. There’s a vault toilet just up from the launch area. Bring your mosquito spray! Lots of birds to see in the area and this leads up to the lake, only for kayaks or canoes though, boats won’t make it through the shallows.
I got lost and on my way to work and somehow found this location. It's pretty chill. I drove down by the docking bridge and parked l. Very peaceful. Nice and quiet. Pinning this location for camping in the future.
Was absolutely beautiful!! Would definitely recommend it.
Didn't camp, just used ramp for dragoon creek. Was good
This campground was the best around. It’s still beautiful and the hosts are amazing. The only issue is this new bathroom. How in the heck is a full campground supposed to get by with 1 shower/toilet combo for each??? There are constantly lines and God forbid someone needs to use the restroom while someone is taking a shower.
