The park is nice and quiet. Very pleasant. Almost 10 yrs there and I like park manager Randy however there are a few things that really put a gray cloud over the whole operation in my opinion. First, Randy has many lots to manage. I understand it can get stressful but I feel there is no justification for initiating a conversation about a tenant rent business, whether it is late, how late, things the owner said in reference etc. in front of other people. It is unprofessional and rude. Period. Second issue is this so-called joke of a "Security/maintenence" man, Gary, put on staff not long ago. I've never seen him maintain anything, he obviously overhears conversations between the owner and manager because he can't run to the tenant being discussed and gossip about what's being said...in other words...he starts mess...unnecessary mess!!!He stirs up drama because he bored. Third, and I will stop here, third and most serious of all...said "Security/Maintenance" man,Gary, told me to my face (and I am not making this up.)..that he and his wife have an open relationship and he can f*** whomever he wants"! What the....as if!!!! I was in the process of moving and could not hardly get stuff done because he would stop by every thirty minutes it seemed to talk, flirt and brag. Gross, gross and whatever. That park was better until he showed up. And Randy, pull folks aside and conduct business in private.
Apr 04, 2021 · Diane MonsIt’s cheap, I’m in the middle of Baton Rouge, and everyone keeps to themselves mostly. If you’re wanting a beautiful community, good luck finding something like that without paying over half your pay check for it. Big down side is the flooding issue when it rains heavily. **Update - They are doing construction work to fix the flooding issue, so that hopefully won't be an issue in the figure. ** **Update 1/7/2020 - The construction was finished so now when there is heavy rain, the park no longer stays flooded.**
