Please stop hiking up the lot rent every year, and also kindly unlock the gate to the lake. Quiet neighborhood, clean trailer park, good people live here. Conveniently located off the 65. I do wish Whispering Oaks would create a tenants union so that the people who rent lot space had a bigger say in the operating affairs.
Lot rent keeps increasing up to 615 a month yard is a swamp and they dont fix anything but are strict.
Lived here for 2 years now. When me and my fiance bought our trailer manager/beth told us that lot rent would be 385 a month. Never seen that it was 450plus. Also took 3 months to get into our place do to laziness of staff here. Was promised things that never happened to this day. They don't plow or salt the streets here I actually had to salt my street so me and my neighbors could get in.lot rent has wet up so much that we are thinking of moving. Our trailer is one of the nicest here but so many old run down ones around us. Have called office and corporate many times and never get any response.wish I could get something out of them cause I like my lot for the most but the lies and rent is getting ridiculous.
I lived there for over 9 years. When we moved in my wife was there while they were placing the trailer and told the manager at the time (Christy) that she didn't like the three trees in the back of the trailer and thought that they were to close. Christy then told her let's get you moved in first then I'll take care of it. Well after at least 2 dozen times of asking and two tree limbs coming through my roof she said that if I wanted them trimmed or cut down I would have to do it MYSELF! Well back on Derby Day I was in bed about 8:30 in the morning and not one but TWO of the trees fell not only on the trailer but on ME! It hurt my back,my ribs and my head. I'm still having back trouble to this day and am still homeless because of their neglect to up keep their property. The manager went out of town that morning ( I'm assuming because she heard about it and didn't want to deal with it). No one not ONCE called to ask how I was or offered to help me with anything. By the way when I moved in the rent was $320.00 a month. It is now $660.00!!!!
Today is the second time that i’ve had an appointment to see a mobile home on a Saturday; which they say they open at certain times, but apparently it is a lie. How inconsiderate of people’s time. Why bother setting an appointment and talking marvelously of a place, making one feel excited to go see some homes and hopefully buy one, if you aren’t going to bother to show up, much less answer the phone. If this is how people in this community is treated, i am no longer interested in dealing with such rudeness. Oh, and before they respond trying to say that THEY believe this is a false review… this is not a false review, and i have voice recording of setting up this appointment and then them not showing up today.
