While Garysburg maintains a peaceful, rural character, the RV park's position on NC-48 (North Carolina Highway 48) is a significant advantage for its target clientele: construction crews.
NC-48 is a state highway that provides direct access to various points within Northampton County and connects to other regional routes. This accessibility is crucial for construction crews, as it allows for relatively straightforward commutes to different job sites in the surrounding areas of northeastern North Carolina and potentially into neighboring parts of Virginia. The ease of getting on and off a main road like NC-48 minimizes travel time and complexity for workers, which is highly valued after a long day on a project.
Despite being on a state highway, the campsite is described by customers as "quiet," suggesting that it benefits from a location that balances accessibility with a peaceful environment.
