Had an excellent short weekend at Lake Ellsworth staying in Colliers Bay. Restroom facilities are lacking though.
Jun 06, 2025 ยท Brian DickersonAbsolutely beautiful! We spent a week hot tenting and it was wonderful. We enjoyed the amazing sunrises and sunsets that we were able to see from our campsite. It was so peaceful. ๐ Only downside is that there is no restroom or showers, only one port-a-potty. We are used to total primitive camping and we were prepared but that's not the case for everyone. We felt very safe as City of Lawton personnel drove through regularly to check on campers and/or collect camping fees. We truly appreciated that feeling of security while camping. ๐ January 2021
Jan 30, 2021 ยท JDShowed up in the middle of the night not knowing what to expect when we woke up. Perfect large space for our rv no hassle and we were the only ones there ! Woke up to coffee and a cute peaceful little lake. It was a great hidden spot. Wanted to fish but a little to windy, probably why all the wind mills are surrounding the area. Wild life was a great sight to see as well.
