Colony Mobile Home Community About
For individuals and families in the Ohio region exploring mobile home living options, understanding the nuances of each community is crucial. Colony Mobile Home Community, situated at 3290 Harding Hwy, Lima, OH 45804, USA, is one such place that serves residents in the Lima area. This article aims to provide a factual and informative overview of Colony Mobile Home Community, drawing from available public information and recent resident feedback. By presenting these insights, local users in Ohio can gain a clearer picture of what to expect from this community.
Colony Mobile Home Community, like many properties, has experienced shifts in management and policies, which are often reflected in resident experiences. Recent reviews offer a mixed perspective, highlighting both areas of concern and points of satisfaction. Understanding these varied viewpoints is essential for prospective residents to make an informed decision.
One prominent theme in recent feedback revolves around changes in ownership and management practices. A resident expressed frustration, stating, "Don’t move here! New owners don’t clean our street no more so it’s icy all winter long lot rent has went up 2 times. They manager in office will not give out owners number so u can never get your issue resolved." This concern about street maintenance, particularly during winter, and difficulties in reaching higher management for problem resolution, are significant points for consideration, especially for residents accustomed to prompt maintenance services.
Another recurring sentiment touches on perceived inconsistencies in lot rent pricing and a lack of transparency. A reviewer noted, "She has her favorites here. My cousin moved here she got her lot rent very cheap. She’s friends with one of her friends that live here also. While others that mover gotta pay a whole lot more. Got your warning 😊" This suggests potential discrepancies in pricing for different residents, which can be a source of frustration and is an important factor to clarify before committing to a lease.
However, it is also important to acknowledge more positive feedback. One review lauded the management, stating, "Amazing manager very kind and understanding, couldn’t name a better place to start ur life." This contrasting view indicates that individual experiences with the management team can vary, and some residents find them to be supportive and helpful, suggesting that direct interaction and personal assessment are valuable.
These varied experiences highlight that Colony Mobile Home Community, like any residential park, has its unique set of challenges and benefits. For local Ohio residents considering this community, a comprehensive understanding of these points will be vital in aligning expectations with reality.

Amazing manager very kind and understanding, couldn’t name a better place to start ur life
Great place to live grew up here moved back as an adult since such cheap living compared to houses these days. Good way to save money and build ur credit to buy a house down the road. It's quiet nowadays, other then plastipak next door they suck the dust and they are loud but you get use to it I guess lol neighbor wise its quiet and drama free here more then 7 years this time and I would recommend it for sure!!
Had a great experience here at Colony! I lived in the park for 2 years by myself with my toddler and I did not have any issues. I always felt safe with the whole community around me. I ended up getting engaged and getting a house so this was a great stepping stone for me, although it's a great choice for a permanent home also. My neighbors were great and you will not be disappointed as Jill the park manager was awesome and was always on top of it!
Horrible and trashy! The manager is very rude and if she don't know u well she will give you a hard time ! While allowing others to break rules , such as dog that r not allowed in her own rules, and no campers but one sat there for 4 mts until her inspection was due ! This place should be condemned, roads are totally messed up, she will not allow u to sign lease so she can put you out if u tell her things are messed up or even disagree! Worst place in Lima to go stear clear! And if you like to hear gun shots at your front door cause she will shot her gun right outside!
