As a professional content writer, it is paramount to adhere strictly to factual information and avoid inventing details. The provided customer review for Down Yonder Village does not contain information about specific current promotions or special offers. In the context of a long-term residential 55+ mobile home park, "promotions" are typically less about transient discounts and more about value propositions for permanent residency. • Move-In Incentives: Such as a reduced security deposit on lot rent, or a temporary discount on the first few months of lot rent for new residents.
  • Referral Programs: Where current residents receive a credit or bonus for referring new tenants who successfully purchase a home and lease a lot within the park.

The first year I lived here everything was great ! I slowly tried to get more involved with the community and meet my neighbours . I learned it was a major shit show minus a few really great people I met. . It looks good from afar but don’t believe you eyes. Had I known the drama within the community was so hateful and the outright lack of notification about the annual rent increase every year from management I would have never moved in this park. HOA IS A JOKE !! And I mean that ! It’s not a real HOA . Our lot rent went from around $700 to nearly $1000 in less than 5 years. I never wanted to buy a Mobile home but it seemed like an affordable option the time. We invested our Money plus our sweat equity into this home for nothing. The 2024 hurricane season was the final straw when we lost the roof on the front of our mobile home. . So if you’re looking for a retirement community please do not invest your money here or with any other ELS PROPERTY. And don’t pick a mobile home because it is the affordable option. Do your research , find a better forever home . Mobile homes and hurricanes are no joke
