Location and Accessibility

The Grand Ole RV Resort and Market is strategically located at 708 N Main St, Goodlettsville, TN 37072, USA. This prime address places it in the charming town of Goodlettsville, which offers a delightful blend of small-town appeal and immediate access to the bustling attractions of Nashville, also known as "Music City."

Goodlettsville itself is a historic community, providing a quieter backdrop compared to the urban core of Nashville, yet it's incredibly well-connected. The RV resort is situated just off major roadways, ensuring easy navigation for even the largest RVs. This accessibility is a significant advantage for travelers coming from all directions across Tennessee and beyond.

Crucially, the Grand Ole RV Resort boasts an excellent proximity to many of Nashville's world-famous attractions. It's approximately 12 to 17 miles from downtown Nashville, making it a convenient 20-minute drive to iconic sites such as the Grand Ole Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, Ryman Auditorium, and the lively Broadway honky-tonks. This means guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of the RV park while having effortless access to concerts, shows, shopping (like Opry Mills Mall and Rivergate Mall), and cultural experiences in the city. The location also offers easy access to outdoor activities, with hiking trails nearby and fishing opportunities at Old Hickory Lake or the Cumberland River. For Kentuckians, the resort's location just north of Nashville makes it a manageable drive for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation to explore both the charming local area and the vibrant capital city.

Promotions or Special Offers

Based on the available public data, the Grand Ole RV Resort and Market generally aims to offer competitive and affordable rates year-round, rather than relying on frequent, publicly advertised promotions or discount coupons. Their philosophy, as stated on their website, is that they are "the lowest priced facility in the Nashville area," aiming to provide great value from the outset.

While they previously offered a "Rent 6 Nights Get The 7th Night Free" promotion, this is explicitly noted as no longer being offered. Therefore, as of current information, there are no specific, ongoing promotions or special offers widely advertised for daily or weekly stays.

However, prospective guests are always encouraged to contact the resort directly for the most up-to-date pricing and any potential unadvertised deals that might be available. It is not uncommon for RV parks to offer slight variations in rates for extended monthly stays, or to have occasional unpublicized specials during off-peak seasons or for specific events. Given the resort's commitment to customer service and a friendly atmosphere, a direct call to their team at (615) 420-6036 or +1 615-420-6036 would be the best way to inquire about current rates, availability, and any potential flexibility. They also offer a "Site Guarantee Fee" for $15, which allows you to reserve a specific campsite, a feature that might be seen as a value-add for those with particular preferences.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

For locals in Tennessee, the Grand Ole RV Resort and Market in Goodlettsville stands out as an exceptionally suitable and appealing destination for RV camping and extended stays. Its suitability stems from a compelling combination of strategic location, comprehensive amenities, and a distinct emphasis on Southern hospitality.

Tennesseans can enjoy the peaceful, well-maintained environment of an RV resort while being mere minutes away from the excitement and attractions of Music City. This means easy access to world-class entertainment, historical sites, dining, and shopping without the constant hustle and bustle of staying directly within the city limits. Full hookup sites, clean bathhouses, on-site laundry, and a well-stocked general store ensure that all practical needs are met, contributing to a hassle-free and enjoyable stay. The unique offering of live music nightly during peak season adds a significant layer of entertainment and community engagement right at the park, creating a vibrant atmosphere that resonates with Tennessee's rich musical heritage. This provides a genuine "Nashville experience" without needing to leave the comfort of the resort.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the resort's commitment to Southern hospitality and making guests "feel like family" truly sets it apart for locals. As highlighted by reviews, the staff's helpfulness, even in challenging situations for new RVers, fosters a welcoming and supportive environment. While individual experiences with fellow campers can vary, the overall intent is to cultivate a friendly community where mutual assistance and kindness prevail. This aligns well with the values often cherished by Tennesseans, making the Grand Ole RV Resort a place where they can feel at home, relax, and create lasting memories with family and friends, all within their beloved home state. It's more than just an RV park; it's a slice of Tennessee charm designed for comfortable and memorable outdoor living.

Newish to RV camping so the neighbors helped me level my camper. Young man (staff member) walked me through hooking up some of my lines but of course could not physically help because of liability reasons which is completely understandable. I was so grateful for the help and the teachable moment. Some of the other neighbors were a bit rude but I figure it the heat and drinking which isn’t an issue, I kill people with kindness. The band playing was beautiful but I did not feel welcomed enough (because of the particular camper nearby that kept giving us trouble) to go enjoy it. Instead I kept to myself and stayed inside my camper. Clean area, packed but it’s expected since it’s summer and near a popular tourist city.

Nice-ish park. Friendly staff. Great location. Clean bathrooms. Music every night (really nice). The only negatives were, although there were many open sites, they put us in the narrowest spot in the park with neighbors almost on top off us. And, when it rains, water puddles everywhere.

We really enjoyed our stay here. All the grounds were clean and well taken care of. The bathrooms and showers were always very clean, which speaks volumes. The staff were so friendly and when Sue was amazing when she checked us in. We enjoyed the entertainment also. Highly recommend the Grand Ole RV resort and if our travels bring us to this area again, we will surely stay here again

We have been stopping here for years on our way to Florida from Indiana and also on the way home. Super friendly staff and nice campground. Easy off and on the highway. It is right next to multiple train tracks with frequent fast moving trains, so there’s noise from that but we didn’t mind it. They used to have live music every night and that’s why we always made sure to stay here. Now, it’s just Fridays and Saturdays. So that’s a bummer. They offer a delicious and affordable breakfast every morning which makes it quick and easy to get back in the road! Reservations are always an easy phone call.

From the minute we pulled in we felt at home. Team member Gavin guided us via golf cart to our site and even helped us back in. Later he even came by and helped us refill our propane tanks. Sue and the whole team really aimed to please. We had absolutely everything we needed and loved the amenities. We took nice, hot showers and enjoyed talented musicians every night. We loved the proximity to Nashville too and used it as a launchpad for exploring the Music City and fun surrounding suburbs. We recommend this place and would definitely come back!
