Harris Hill Campground is situated at 940 KY-213, Jeffersonville, KY 40337, USA. This address places it in a more rural part of Jeffersonville, within the broader region of Eastern Kentucky. For local Kentuckians, access to KY-213 typically involves navigating state routes that connect to larger highways, leading into the more forested and scenic areas.
One crucial aspect of accessibility mentioned in reviews is the "hill to enter the campsite," which is described as a "35 degree incline." This steep approach is a significant factor for visitors, particularly those with larger RVs or trailers. A customer review explicitly states, "Hope you have 4 wheel drive," indicating that vehicles with higher clearance and stronger traction might be necessary or highly recommended for comfortable access, especially during inclement weather. Despite this challenging entry, the campground's presence on a state route (KY-213) implies it is on a maintained road up to the point of the incline. Visitors should be prepared for a rustic and potentially challenging entry to reach this quiet, affordable getaway. Planning your arrival during daylight hours is highly advisable to navigate the incline safely.

Customer Reviews
Quiet and affordable getaway no bathhouse but nice place
The hill to enter the campsite must be a 35 degree incline. Hope you have 4 wheel drive. The pictures must have been taken after a spring clean up. Most of the campers live there. They have 1'shower with a 5 gallon water heater. No heat in the shower room but cob webs line the top of the cement.
We ended up staying longer than expected while we waited to close on a home. Larry and family were wonderful to meet and get to know. Jeff and Jerald who work for Larry and run the show, on The Hill, are awesome. There were several long term residents, but everyone was super nice and we made a lot of new friends during our stay. My only complaint was no laundry facility (otherwise it’d be 5 stars), but I think one is going to be added soon. Our kids fished, played pool, rode bikes, and stayed busy. The hill driveway was a great place to exercise, and having access to the whole property kept us occupied most days. Overall, incredibly accommodating hosts and nice facilities. It was an eclectic mix of folks while we were there, but all were super helpful and friendly and we are truly glad we had the opportunity to spend so much time with them. We’ll be staying in touch and going back to visit often. Much more laid back here than other campgrounds we’ve been to and we loved that! Highly recommend if you’re looking for off the beaten path and quiet. Its not super fancy like some snobby places we’ve had the misfortune of landing at, but they make you feel like family here and that makes all the difference in our minds.
Very good people, very beautiful area.
After a dusty drive up the hill I realize the junkyard at the bottom the hill is cleaner then the campground. The picture that is being shown the person who took the picture Has his back to the junkyard at the top of the hill. On top of that it looks like a nasty trailer park. Do not waste your time. I chose not to use the description I used when I got to the top because it’s not very clean. I only gave it one star because I had to give us something to post this.
