For North Carolina residents, accessibility to Lazy Boy Travel Trailer Park is generally straightforward. Hendersonville is well-connected by major roadways, including Interstate 26, which provides direct links to larger cities like Asheville to the north and Spartanburg, South Carolina, to the south. This ensures that reaching the park with your RV or travel trailer is a smooth process from various parts of North Carolina, whether you're coming from the Triangle area, Charlotte, or other Western NC towns. While a review notes there "isn't much directly around campground" in terms of immediate commercial establishments, this contributes to its quiet nature, and the overall Hendersonville area is easily accessible for all your needs and desires.

Once you turn onto Lazy Boy Lane, the park's entrance is clearly marked. The ease of hookups being "good" and the overall positive experience of overnight guests suggest that the park is well-laid out for convenient RV maneuvering. Its location, while not in the immediate hustle and bustle, is perfect for those planning trips to "Bat Cave or the mountains for instance," indicating it serves as an excellent jumping-off point for exploring the wider Western North Carolina region. This balance of peaceful seclusion and convenient access to regional attractions makes Lazy Boy Travel Trailer Park a practical and appealing choice for RV owners across North Carolina looking for a comfortable and tranquil base.

Lazy Boy Travel Trailer Park, while described as not having "pools, or club house," truly excels in providing essential services that prioritize guest comfort, safety, and a unique sense of community. The focus here is on creating a welcoming and functional environment where guests feel cared for. Based on glowing customer reviews, here are the key services offered:

  • Full RV Hookups: The park provides dedicated sites with "good" hookups, which are essential for a comfortable RV stay. These typically include electricity, water, and sewer connections, allowing guests to fully utilize their recreational vehicles.
  • Large, Clean Showers: A standout service highlighted by guests is the availability of "huge, clean and plenty of pressure" showers. This indicates a commitment to providing excellent, well-maintained restroom and shower facilities, which is a major comfort for all RV travelers.
  • Quiet and Safe Environment: The park consistently delivers a "super quiet" and "safe" atmosphere. This is a crucial service that contributes significantly to guests' peace of mind and allows for true relaxation, especially important for solo travelers.
  • Caring and Supportive Owners/Management: The "owner and her family" (Miriam and family) are praised for their exceptional care and support, particularly during challenging times ("survived Helene"). Services extended include making sure "everyone was ok! Fed, and had water." This level of personal attention and care goes far beyond typical park management.
  • Community Support: The park fosters a strong sense of "Family here!" This indicates a service environment where residents look out for each other and feel supported by management, creating a tight-knit community.
  • Accommodation for Overnight and Long-Term Stays: The park is suitable for both "one night on the way through" and appears "to be meant more for permanent or long stay." This flexibility in accommodating different stay durations is a valuable service for a wide range of RVers.
  • Accessibility to Water and Essentials During Emergencies: The owner's efforts during a storm to ensure guests "had water" highlight a commitment to basic necessities, even in adverse conditions. This speaks to a deep level of care and preparedness.

Lazy Boy Travel Trailer Park may not boast a long list of resort-style amenities, but its true features and highlights lie in the intangible qualities that create an exceptionally warm, safe, and welcoming environment for its guests. These are the attributes that consistently receive glowing praise and differentiate it from other parks:

Their dedication, compassion, and proactive care for residents, especially in emergencies, are truly outstanding features that define the park's character.

  • Resilience and Mutual Support During Challenges: The account of surviving "Helene" and the community's collective efforts highlights the park's resilience and the strong support system in place, demonstrating its reliability even in adverse conditions.

As a community-focused travel trailer park that prioritizes long-term stays and a supportive atmosphere, Lazy Boy Travel Trailer Park doesn't typically offer traditional commercial "promotions" or seasonal discounts in the way larger resort-style RV parks might. However, its true value and "special offers" lie in the exceptional experience and inherent benefits it provides to its North Carolina clientele. These are the ongoing advantages that make it a uniquely appealing choice:

  • Unbeatable Community and Support: The profound sense of "family" and the extraordinary care shown by Miriam and her family, particularly during a storm, represent an invaluable "special offer." This level of personal support and community spirit is something money can't buy and provides immense peace of mind and comfort, especially for those staying long-term or alone.
  • Consistent High Quality of Core Services: While not "fancy," the consistent delivery of "super quiet" sites, "good" hookups, and notably "huge, clean and plenty of pressure" showers are a continuous "promotion" of quality and reliability. Guests receive excellent fundamental amenities without paying for features they might not use.
  • Long-Term Value: The park's suitability for "permanent or long stay" suggests competitive and stable rates for extended visits. For North Carolinians needing a reliable, safe, and welcoming "home base" for months, the overall value of the living experience, including the community aspect, is a significant implicit offer.

I've been waiting for a min. To write a review. And I think this is the best time! We survived Helene. How this Park , the owner and her family pulled together, to make sure everyone was ok! Fed, and had water. This has been the best experience, place I have stayed yet! We don't have pools, or club house.. But what we have is a Family here! If you Just want a relaxing place that is quiet and safe to chill out. Come on! So Thank you Miriam and family, for doing what you do! God Bless each and everyone of you!

Did one night on the way through, a Thursday so didn't get to check area much, isn't much directly around campground, but perfect for an overnight. Super quiet, hookups were good, showers are huge, clean and plenty of pressure. It is showing it's age, looks to be meant more for permanent or long stay, but we were fine with one night too. Lady was super sweet. Would definitely do again for an overnight and even a little longer if going to Bat Cave or the mountains for instance.

I moved my RV in here about four months ago and it's truly been a great experience. Mariam will go above and beyond to make sure you're safe secure and feel like family. I'm so grateful for her. They are pet friendly and the tenants all kinda keep to themselves but at the same time pull together to make you feel like family if you're in need. I'm so incredibly grateful to have found this place I get to call home but most of all I'm grateful for the owner Mariam. She is so kind and compassionate and truly a woman full of the love of God. It radiates from her. If you're looking for a place to park your RV they are open year round and it's the best place around. It won't disappoint. I promise you'll be glad you came! Mariam also goes out of her way to deliver your mail daily and keeps all the facilities nice and clean and well maintained. The laundry room is less than half price of the cheapest commercial laundry facilities nearby. Everything is super affordable. In today's economy this was much needed. I feel safe and secure here and just am in love with my home. Thank you Mariam for all you do. You're a wonderful human.

This is a nice small family ran campground , I would highly recommend it is not extravagant but the price reflects that, it has bathrooms and laundry room most campers live here, but they have some spots they rent daily. If passing through asheville or Henderson definitely a place to check in and relax, for a very reasonable price. It was quiet area tucked away off the beaten path. A+ customer service owner is very sweet.
