May 24, 2025 · gina groveWe had plans to go to Myrtle Beach but it was raining the entire week . So we decided to go North to Michigan and go to Mackanac Island. The KOA was very clean with new pads , furniture, grill, and fire pit . The staff (Pam) was very nice and helpful. We rode the Harley thru the Tunnel of trees. Had to cut our trip short, but plan to return and do the upper peninsula.

The dog park was great, nice laundry room, pool, bathrooms. They even deliver ice and firewood to your site!!! Everything about this KOA says we hope you come back. Believe me, I will. There’s even a free shuttle to catch the ferry to Mackinaw Island and our pups were welcome too. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this campground!
