Customer Reviews
From tent spaces to RVs this little campground has 4 different loops of campsites. Showers, decent restrooms and good maintenance overall. Friendly and efficient staff and close proximity to several major hiking trails as well as the Pisgah inn and restaurant. Fire pit area and picnic table generally available at most sites. No hookups and no generators during late hours. There is an RV dump station on site.
Everybody is sweet and there's cool dogs and it's kind friendly!
Had a wonderful experience here. The tent campsites were great. Hot showers and really clean bathrooms. Right off the blue ridge parkway and a small store across the street, the only downside is a very limited selection, so make sure you have everything you need. The closest town is over 30 minutes away. Great selection of trails to hike as well.
Relatively short hike with I am told 239 steps to the top. Once you're there it a grand 360 view of the majestic Appalachian chain and Ashville. One of my favorites!
The camp grounds are perfect! Right on blue ridge highway, not far from Ashville. They have a dedicated loop for RVs/campers and a dedicated loop for tent-only. They have multiple bathroom houses on site, one of which has a shower with hot water. From my experience, bathrooms are cleaned every morning. It costs 20/night to stay, and 10/night if you're a senior. I highly recommend this spot! Been here 7x now.
