This city park / campground is about 50' from the Root River State Trail. It has 10 reservable RV spots with full hook ups. The campground has toilets, trash, bathrooms, playground, covered picnic area, dump station. No showers. Lots of room but the sites are fairly close to each other. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The Root River Trail is a bike/walk/xc ski trail that goes from Houston MN to Preston MN. An awesome trail that runs along the Root River. It's very flat and beautiful. Best sites are probably 9 and 10...and then 1 and 5.

Nice little place for your Root River adventures. Electric, water and sewer hookups. 4 block walk to the river, with a landing. Legion is 2 block walk. Right on the Root River bike trail. Pretty quiet. Public washroom could be a little more well kept. We will be back.
