The tent camping at Rock Island State Park is very well kept. I was impressed at the cleanliness of the bath house. The sites are a pretty well spaced, many have trees to provide some shade. We were in site 59 and had enough trees to use a hammock and some tarp shelters. Rangers were friendly and did rounds regularly. I'm glad we stopped in at the visitor's center. The staff there were very helpful with trail info.

Jul 14, 2019 · Annabelle BainumI really spend the best weekend in this place
Aug 20, 2024 · Yosmany Lara HerreraI'd rate this higher but until the water levels are back to normal, due to work being done to Center Hill Dam or a pool is built, there is little to do here for small children. It's gorgeous but too dangerous for the young ones. Try Fall Creek Falls or Cedars of Lebanon instead if you have children.
Jul 15, 2019 · John Bond78 (John)I stayed 3 nights. Very quiet. Loved the wooded lots. It rained while I was there so I did not get to fully enjoy the outdoor ambiance. The shower house was clean and heated. I would totally recommend.
