We very much enjoyed our 4 month stay here. The owners were great and became family. Nothing fancy or high end but delightful all the same. Our son enjoyed the catch and release pond and swimming area.
Oct 02, 2024 · Brenner Kalynn WOODSThis was a fun camping experience. I can't wait to return! We had one of the group sites in the back with power. It was big enough for our whole family without space issues and had river access. I adored the pond they had for us to swim in. My children loved the whole experience.
Apr 24, 2024 · Alysha LewisEvery fly, fruit fly, deer fly, and gnat in Michigan were also staying at this campground on this particular weekend. The bathrooms could have been cleaned way better and the out houses needed some sort of air fresheners/ bleach/ or lemon dish soap... anything! The little beach was pretty nice and the general store was pretty awesome. Plenty of hiking trails. Kids loved the playground.
Jul 24, 2023 · nick tischLove this campground, and we aren’t campground people lol We usually camp in the middle of the woods! We loved our site #3! It was backed right up to the river, with trails galore! We didn’t bike the trails we walked them and we walked them all! I used to come here when I was a kid and I’ll say it’s been 15-20 years since I’ve camped here and I was very happy with the site, and the owners are amazing! Very nice people, very accommodating and great customer service! Their little store that’s on the campground, had anything and everything you’d ever need! The pond was very clean and beautiful! They also have kayak rentals! My sister learned how to kayak this weekend on the pond and it was a very fun experience for her! We will definitely be coming back and we’ll be bringing the kiddos! Thank you for an amazing experience ♥️ Take care, until next time!
Jun 13, 2022 · Janette PacquetteWe stayed here for a night on our way back home from a long journey. 31' motorhome, 2 people, 2 dogs. Sites are all grass which is perfect for traveling with dogs. We were in an electric only site which was huge (and it was one of their smaller sites). It backed onto the creek and was absolutely beautiful. Lots of trails to walk the dogs and we were able to take them swimming which was great. We arrived after they closed up shop but waited for us anyways, and didn't charge us their standard fee for staying 3 hours later than check out. We would definitely stay here again.
