Shangri La Mobile Home Park in Largo, Florida, offers a compelling living proposition for locals and those considering a move to the Sunshine State, particularly for individuals seeking a tranquil, well-established, and conveniently located community. Its suitability stems from a blend of key factors that align well with the desired Florida lifestyle.
Firstly, the emphasis on being a "Clean well kept older community" is a significant draw. This indicates a commitment to maintaining high standards of appearance and upkeep, which contributes to a pleasant and welcoming environment for all residents. For those who value neatness and a sense of pride in their surroundings, Shangri La provides an appealing setting. The mature nature of the community often translates into stable residency and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for individuals seeking a quiet retreat.

While one review mentioned "Terrible management, should be shut down and investigated by the state. I see a class action coming soon. The residents need to band together," it's important to note this is a single negative review amidst a generally positive impression of a "clean well kept" community with amenities like shuffleboard. Prospective residents should always conduct their own due diligence, perhaps by visiting the park and speaking with current residents, to form their own opinion on management and community satisfaction. However, based on the descriptive elements of the community itself (cleanliness, amenities, established nature), it presents a strong appeal.
In summary, Shangri La Mobile Home Park offers a compelling option for those in Florida seeking an established, well-maintained, and conveniently located community. It provides an environment where residents can enjoy the benefits of affordable living within a peaceful setting, surrounded by the ample recreational and practical advantages that Largo, Florida, has to offer.

Clean well kept older community with shuffle board.
this was supposed to be my retirement home...however you have very poor management...since living there the parks has had 6 managers in 8yrs...you think you know your neighbors lol...Get surveillance all around your place& post it... be careful of the rotten people that have no respect for the elderly ( especially the dumpster police) she is a piece of work ...the lawn men suck!!! they either cut your plants or never cut your weeds...all non resident own properties are being bought out for townhouses, condos, or apts...Do Not Invest the property is full of bugs and critters... No one ever sprays the outsides or the sidewalks you have to keep clean yourself... Think about it before you decide
People there are REALLY nosy. Watch out for the thriving porch pirates especially the woman in Lot 55. She likes to steal stuff from people's porches, carport & back patio then try to lie about it. The lady that is the head of the HOA likes to harass people as well.
Was a great place to live until new management came they charged me late fees four months in a row after dropping off my bank routing documents for auto pay there is no one at all you can speak to about this as they only go to the office a few times a week for a hour or two, they cost me over 500$ because they are so disorganized and refuse to take any accountability avoid at all costs
