Sherwood Village is a mobile home community in Irving, Texas, managed by its Property Owners Association (POA), which plays a crucial role in maintaining the community's standards and amenities. This established neighborhood provides a living environment where residents own their homes and lease the land, benefiting from shared services and a collective commitment to upkeep. The POA's dedication ensures that common areas remain clean and orderly, contributing to a pleasant living experience for all residents. While the park has seen changes in management over the years, the core appeal of spacious lots and a generally quiet atmosphere persists. Sherwood Village aims to offer an affordable and stable housing option within the DFW Metroplex, appealing to those who appreciate a more relaxed pace of life while still having convenient access to urban amenities. It's a place where you can find both older, well-loved homes and newer models, providing a diverse mix of residences within a consistent community framework.

- Lawn Mowing: The HOA dues include mowing the grass for common areas and potentially individual lots, helping maintain a tidy appearance throughout the community.
- Mailboxes: Centralized mailboxes are available on the south side of the clubhouse parking lot for convenient mail retrieval.
- Common Area Maintenance: The POA is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of shared spaces, contributing to the overall cleanliness and appeal of the community.
- Architectural Control: The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) reviews submissions for exterior changes to homes to ensure consistency and continuity with community design standards, protecting property values.
- Access to Common Amenities: Dues provide members with privileges to use common areas, which include the swimming pool and clubhouse.
- HOA Management: The Property Owners Association oversees the general operations and financial stability of the community, including assessment billing and collections, and professional advising to the Board of Directors.
- Regular Meetings: Monthly meetings are held at the clubhouse on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (excluding December) to discuss community concerns and updates.
- Clean and Well-Maintained: Residents consistently praise the cleanliness of the park, indicating that the POA does a good job of keeping the common areas tidy and presentable.

- HOA Managed Community: The presence of a Property Owners Association ensures structured management, community standards, and shared services, which can contribute to a more organized and harmonious living experience.
- Convenient DFW Location: Situated in Irving, the park offers excellent accessibility to major highways, public transport, employment hubs, and the vast amenities of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
- Mix of Homes: The community features a blend of older, established mobile homes and newer models, providing diverse housing options within a consistent community framework.
As Sherwood Village operates as a Property Owners Association (POA) where residents typically own their mobile homes and pay monthly dues for lot lease and services, specific promotional offers in the traditional sense (like move-in specials for lot rent) are less common than in rental-only parks. However, the POA aims to provide excellent value through its included services. Current publicly available information indicates that monthly Association dues are $70.00, due on the first of each month. A discount is offered for members who prepay their dues for the entire year, receiving one month free. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on any potential new resident benefits, current dues, or policies regarding purchasing a home within the community, it is highly recommended to contact the Sherwood Village Property Owners Association directly. They can provide detailed information on what their current offerings entail and how the ownership structure works.

Customer Reviews
Nice place . They keep it clean
I live in my mother's house which she was in for over 30 years. When she passed away I moved here. It used to be very nice here but thru the years it has changed management and things are not so great now. The properties are very nice, some older some newer models have arrived. I have a big lot with lots of beautiful trees that provide plenty of shade in summer but lots of leaves to rake and bag up come fall. Mostly quiet and friendly folks here.
Some of the places here seem nice and are you know nicely groomed around their living space. Had a occurrence where a fellow associate was approached and was told that this place was a homeowners association. I'm not really sure how that's possible considering you have to follow strict guidelines in a homeowners association and with some of these other trailer homes that are on the property some of them don't look like they're up to the standards. As for the privately owned establishment some of the staff are not all that business like. Some seem to put on a facade.
I have lived in this park most of my life. The home I live in used to be my grandparents. I have seen many changes over the years. Some good some bad. For the most part, it is a good place to live. I think the management picks and chooses who they want to pick on. And I think the board needs all new people with different values. My grandparents were one of the first mobile homes in this park. And we have been here longer than anyone else, that I know of. You would think that would count for something.....not so sure that it does.
This park has been there a long time it's very well maintained and feels like you're in the country almost. I have lived in this trailer park and I have had many friends throughout the years that have lived here and it's always been a very nice place to either live or visit.
