Sherwood Village Property Owners Association in Irving, Texas, offers a unique opportunity for those looking for mobile home living with the benefits of a structured community. While experiences can vary, residents often highlight the park's cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and friendly neighbors. If you're seeking a place with established roots, spacious lots, and a sense of community, Sherwood Village might be the ideal place for your next Texas home.
Sherwood Village is a mobile home community in Irving, Texas, managed by its Property Owners Association (POA), which plays a crucial role in maintaining the community's standards and amenities. This established neighborhood provides a living environment where residents own their homes and lease the land, benefiting from shared services and a collective commitment to upkeep. The POA's dedication ensures that common areas remain clean and orderly, contributing to a pleasant living experience for all residents. While the park has seen changes in management over the years, the core appeal of spacious lots and a generally quiet atmosphere persists. Sherwood Village aims to offer an affordable and stable housing option within the DFW Metroplex, appealing to those who appreciate a more relaxed pace of life while still having convenient access to urban amenities. It's a place where you can find both older, well-loved homes and newer models, providing a diverse mix of residences within a consistent community framework.
Sherwood Village Property Owners Association is conveniently located at 619 Churchill Way, Irving, TX 75060, USA. This strategic position places it within the thriving city of Irving, part of the expansive Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The park's accessibility is a key advantage, offering residents straightforward commutes to major employment centers, educational institutions, and a vast array of recreational and entertainment options across DFW. Irving itself is a diverse city with excellent infrastructure, including easy access to major highways, simplifying travel throughout the region. Residents of Sherwood Village will find themselves just a short drive from local conveniences such as grocery stores, retail shopping centers, diverse dining establishments, and essential services. The park's proximity to various DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) stations also offers convenient public transportation options for those who prefer not to drive. For families, access to the highly-rated Irving Independent School District is a significant benefit. Additionally, the location provides reasonable access to both Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (DAL), making it convenient for travel. The blend of a peaceful residential setting with immediate access to urban amenities makes Sherwood Village an attractive and practical choice for living in the heart of Texas.
As a Property Owners Association, Sherwood Village provides various services funded by monthly dues to ensure the community remains well-maintained and provides value to its residents:
As Sherwood Village operates as a Property Owners Association (POA) where residents typically own their mobile homes and pay monthly dues for lot lease and services, specific promotional offers in the traditional sense (like move-in specials for lot rent) are less common than in rental-only parks. However, the POA aims to provide excellent value through its included services. Current publicly available information indicates that monthly Association dues are $70.00, due on the first of each month. A discount is offered for members who prepay their dues for the entire year, receiving one month free. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on any potential new resident benefits, current dues, or policies regarding purchasing a home within the community, it is highly recommended to contact the Sherwood Village Property Owners Association directly. They can provide detailed information on what their current offerings entail and how the ownership structure works.
For Texans seeking a stable, affordable, and community-focused living experience within the bustling DFW Metroplex, Sherwood Village Property Owners Association in Irving offers a highly suitable option. Locals often prioritize convenience, community, and value when choosing a home, and Sherwood Village delivers on these fronts. The presence of a well-structured Property Owners Association means that the community is actively managed, ensuring common areas are kept clean and standards are upheld. This provides residents with a sense of security and pride in their neighborhood, which is invaluable in a large metropolitan area. The ample lot sizes, many with mature trees, offer a more spacious and natural environment than many typical urban dwellings, providing a pleasant retreat from city life while still being incredibly close to all amenities. For families and individuals alike, the generally quiet and friendly atmosphere fosters a true sense of belonging. With its convenient Irving location, residents have easy access to a vast array of job opportunities, excellent schools within the Irving ISD, diverse dining, shopping, and major transportation hubs. Sherwood Village offers a practical and desirable alternative to traditional housing, allowing Texans to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle with the benefits of a supportive and well-maintained community right in the heart of North Texas.

Nice place . They keep it clean
May 11, 2025 · Rashad BoardI live in my mother's house which she was in for over 30 years. When she passed away I moved here. It used to be very nice here but thru the years it has changed management and things are not so great now. The properties are very nice, some older some newer models have arrived. I have a big lot with lots of beautiful trees that provide plenty of shade in summer but lots of leaves to rake and bag up come fall. Mostly quiet and friendly folks here.
Dec 03, 2022 · Sherrie HowardSome of the places here seem nice and are you know nicely groomed around their living space. Had a occurrence where a fellow associate was approached and was told that this place was a homeowners association. I'm not really sure how that's possible considering you have to follow strict guidelines in a homeowners association and with some of these other trailer homes that are on the property some of them don't look like they're up to the standards. As for the privately owned establishment some of the staff are not all that business like. Some seem to put on a facade.
Apr 13, 2022 · Sam IamI have lived in this park most of my life. The home I live in used to be my grandparents. I have seen many changes over the years. Some good some bad. For the most part, it is a good place to live. I think the management picks and chooses who they want to pick on. And I think the board needs all new people with different values. My grandparents were one of the first mobile homes in this park. And we have been here longer than anyone else, that I know of. You would think that would count for something.....not so sure that it does.
Mar 13, 2018 · Laurie BrainerdThis park has been there a long time it's very well maintained and feels like you're in the country almost. I have lived in this trailer park and I have had many friends throughout the years that have lived here and it's always been a very nice place to either live or visit.
