St. Croix River Resort primarily operates as a membership-based resort, which means access and pricing are typically structured differently than public campgrounds. While specific, short-term promotions are not widely advertised, the core "offer" is the value provided through its membership model and comprehensive amenities. Minnesotans interested in St. Croix River Resort should consider the following:
-
Membership Benefits: The primary "promotion" is the membership itself. As one reviewer stated, "Out of all the campgrounds in MN with the membership, this one is our favorite!" Members typically gain access to a network of resorts, often with reciprocal benefits, and enjoy consistent access to high-quality amenities. Details on membership types and their associated costs would need to be obtained directly from the resort or its parent company (Travel Resorts of America). Membership often includes discounted rates, priority booking, and exclusive access to facilities.
-
Seasonal Stay Options: While daily rates might be available for non-members or trial stays, membership often unlocks the best value for seasonal or extended visits. It's common for resort memberships to be more cost-effective for frequent campers.
-
Trial Memberships or Introductory Offers: Some membership resorts offer trial memberships or introductory packages for potential new members. These might include a discounted short stay to experience the resort before committing to a full membership. It's worth inquiring if such programs are available.
-
Included Amenities: The vast array of amenities, such as the indoor pool, sports courts, playground, and clubhouse, are included in the membership fee, offering significant value compared to paying for each amenity separately at other locations.
To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on membership options, pricing structures, and any specific introductory offers for Minnesotans, it is essential to contact St. Croix River Resort directly. They will be able to provide details on how to become a member and the benefits associated with it.

I was a weekend camper at this campground as much as I could. I loved it so much I became a permanent camper. The staff is welcoming and great personalities. I have never experienced a staff that is friendly and fun as I do here. The campgrounds are well kept along with the bathrooms and buildings. I have been going here for years and never swam in the indoor pool but from what the kids and grandkids tell me it is nice. There is a lot to do in this area as well from tubing, trail riding on Atvs to hiking and sight seeing. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Beware of TRA. Look at the reviews. Look at the complaints on the BBB site. Do your research. Do not fall for the sales pitch like so many of us have. Total waiste of money and you cannot get out of paying them for the rest of your life.

Nice clean facilitys, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and hospitality we would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful gem. We stayed in a bunk cabin and they are very nice and clean. Indoor pool is great and our daughter LOVED it! Pictures with Rowdy, trick-or-treating, haunted trail and tons of activities!! Will definitely return!
