As a content writer specializing in local business SEO, it's important to convey that specific, dynamic promotions or special offers for Boulder Campground are not detailed in the provided public information. Boulder Campground, with its noted characteristics of being "very private" and "not terribly frequented," suggests a more rustic or perhaps publicly managed (e.g., state forest, county park) campground. These types of campgrounds typically operate on fixed fee schedules rather than frequent promotional campaigns.
However, based on common practices for similar campgrounds in Minnesota, especially those focusing on a natural, no-frills experience, potential visitors might encounter or inquire about the following types of value propositions:
-
Standard, Consistent Pricing: Often, the "promotion" for such campgrounds is a consistent and affordable fee structure that remains stable throughout the season, providing predictability for campers.
-
Off-Peak Season Accessibility/Availability: While not a discount, the fact that "all spots were available when we went" even during certain times of the year (like early spring, potentially an off-peak period) could be seen as an advantage. This means less competition for desirable sites and a more peaceful experience, which is a significant draw for those seeking solitude.
-
No Reservation Fees: If the campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis (which is common for less frequented, rustic sites), this inherently means no additional reservation fees, offering a cost-saving benefit.
-
Group Camping Rates: Some campgrounds might offer slightly reduced rates for larger groups booking multiple sites, though this would need direct confirmation.
-
Annual Passes/Permits (if applicable): If Boulder Campground is part of a larger state park or forest system, residents might benefit from annual passes that cover entrance or camping fees across multiple locations.
To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on fees, any specific offers, or details about how to secure a campsite at Boulder Campground, it is highly recommended to:
-
Contact the managing authority directly: Utilize the provided phone numbers (320) 280-7880 or +1 320-280-7880. If the campground is managed by a state or county entity, they would be the primary source for current pricing and policies.
-
Check official state or county recreational websites: Information about fees and booking for public campgrounds is often found on Minnesota DNR or Pine County Parks websites.
The primary appeal of Boulder Campground lies in its inherent natural beauty, privacy, and peaceful atmosphere, rather than complex discount programs. Its "promotion" is the promise of an authentic and undisturbed Minnesota camping experience.

Customer Reviews
beautiful campground and very private. all spots were available when we went so there was no problem finding a campground. plenty of trails with beautiful views ❤️
Did a little early spring camping & absolutely fell in love with this little campground & the area. So peaceful. Lake still had ice when we were up, so we skated around in our boots & could hear the ice expanding late in the night, which was pretty cool. Nice trails, although they could be better labeled, but I'm guessing this spot isn't terribly frequented. Used the Avenza app to make sure we were going the right way back to camp. Few vault toilets & water pumps are available. Definitely will be making a few trips during the summer.
Great secluded campground for exploring OHV trails in the area. Be sure to bring a way to secure your trash and food. I found bear tracks nearby. Only 4 stars because it was difficult to pay for the campsite and there were no wildlife proof dumpsters when I was there.
I love it that it is not mainstreamed so we always get a spot, it’s low key and yet plenty of trails and stuff to do. When we were here we saw turtles, fireflies, fox, deer and bunnies.
Wow, this is a hidden gem. Beautiful spot, well maintained. Some secluded campsites. Near to, but far enough away from the atv trails. Danbury's few restaurants and groceries are reasonably close by. In the fall, the leaves are gorgeous. And there's a lake. Nice spot.
