This article aims to provide a factual and informative overview of Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park, drawing from publicly available information to help local users in North Carolina make well-informed choices.
The landscape of mobile home parks varies widely, with some offering extensive amenities and pristine environments, while others may present a more basic or challenging living experience. For individuals and families in North Carolina, especially those considering a move to Fayetteville, understanding the specifics of a mobile home park is paramount before committing. This overview of Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park will delve into its location, discuss potential services, and highlight key features and considerations based on direct feedback from residents. By providing a clear and balanced perspective, this content seeks to empower North Carolina locals to navigate their housing decisions with greater confidence.
Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park is located at 175 Redfish Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28306, USA. Fayetteville is a significant city in Cumberland County, North Carolina, known for its strong military presence due to nearby Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), and its diverse urban landscape.
The park's address on Redfish Drive suggests a setting within a more residential or suburban part of Fayetteville. Redfish Drive is typically a local street, indicating that the park might be situated away from major commercial thoroughfares, potentially offering a quieter environment within its immediate vicinity.
Despite its potentially more secluded immediate setting, the park's location within Fayetteville means residents generally have good access to the city's extensive amenities. Fayetteville boasts a well-developed road network, making it relatively easy to reach various points of interest. Within a reasonable driving distance, residents can expect to find:
-
Grocery Stores and Retail Outlets: Numerous supermarkets and shopping centers are available throughout Fayetteville, providing convenient options for daily necessities and retail therapy.
-
Healthcare Facilities: Access to hospitals, clinics, and various medical services is typically straightforward in a city the size of Fayetteville.
-
Educational Institutions: Schools and other educational facilities are available for families with children.
-
Employment Centers: Fayetteville's economy, influenced by Fort Liberty and other sectors, offers various employment opportunities that would be accessible to residents.
-
Recreational Areas: The city features parks, community centers, and other recreational venues.
While the specific feel of the immediate neighborhood would require an in-person visit, the general accessibility to Fayetteville's broader infrastructure is a characteristic of this location, which is important for North Carolina locals considering this mobile home park as a potential residence.
Information directly detailing the comprehensive list of services offered by Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park is not readily available in the provided public data. However, based on the typical operations of mobile home parks, certain fundamental services are generally expected to be provided as part of the lot rental agreement.
-
Lot Rental: The core service of any mobile home park is the provision of a leased space or lot where residents can place their manufactured homes. This lot rent covers the use of the land and access to the park's internal infrastructure.
-
Utility Connections: Mobile home parks typically provide the necessary hookups for essential utilities at each individual lot. These connections usually include water, sewer, and electricity. Residents are then responsible for establishing their own accounts and paying for the consumption of these utilities directly with the respective service providers.
-
Maintenance of Common Areas: The management of the mobile home park is usually responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of shared areas within the community. This often includes internal roads, street lighting, and any common landscaping that benefits all residents.
-
Management Oversight: A management presence is standard for mobile home parks. This involves handling lease agreements, collecting lot rents, enforcing park rules and regulations, and ideally, addressing resident concerns or issues. The effectiveness and responsiveness of this management are crucial for the resident experience.
-
Community Rules and Regulations: To ensure an orderly and respectful living environment for all residents, the park would operate under a set of rules and regulations. These rules typically cover aspects such as noise levels, property maintenance standards for individual lots, pet policies, and guest protocols.
It is critical for prospective residents to contact Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park directly to obtain a clear and comprehensive understanding of all services provided, what is included in the lot rent, and what responsibilities fall to the resident. This direct communication is especially important given the concerns raised in customer reviews.
Based on the direct feedback from real customers, the features and highlights of Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park present a challenging picture for prospective residents. It is important to present these findings factually.
-
Severe Roach Infestation (Reported): Multiple reviews emphatically highlight a pervasive and severe infestation of German roaches throughout the trailers, including within cabinets and structural elements like cracks and holes. This suggests a significant and difficult-to-resolve pest control issue. The reviews state that standard methods like bombing are ineffective due to the infestation being deeply embedded. This is a critical concern for hygiene and habitability.
-
Unresponsive Management (Reported): A recurring complaint is the unresponsiveness of park management to issues, specifically regarding the roach infestation. Reviews state that management "won't do anything about it" and "won't reply to your phone calls or emails." This indicates a potential lack of effective communication and problem resolution from the park's administration, which is a crucial factor for resident satisfaction and quality of life.
-
Discrepancy in Amenities (Reported): A significant highlight of concern is the reported discrepancy between advertised amenities and actual availability. Specifically, a review states that a "pool which hasn't been open for over 5+ years" is shown in photos, implying that advertised features are misleading. This suggests a potential issue with misrepresentation of facilities, which can impact a resident's expectations and overall satisfaction.
-
Structural Issues (Reported): The mention of "several cracks and holes throughout the floors and cabinets" that allow roach access points implies potential structural or maintenance deficiencies within the mobile home units themselves (if the park also rents out homes, or if this refers to conditions of resident-owned homes on park lots). Such issues can impact safety, comfort, and the ability to maintain a clean living space.
-
Deceptive Online Presentation (Reported): The phrase "The photo looks nice but is full of lies" directly points to a concern that the park's online or promotional imagery might not accurately reflect the current state of the property or its amenities. This is a critical warning for anyone considering the park based solely on its advertised appearance.
These features, as reported by customers, present significant concerns that prospective residents in North Carolina should be acutely aware of and thoroughly investigate before considering Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park as a housing option.
Based on the provided customer reviews and typical operating models for mobile home parks, there is no public information indicating any specific "promotions" or "special offers" from Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park. Unlike retail businesses, mobile home parks generally do not advertise ongoing discounts or limited-time deals. Their primary offering is the provision of mobile home lots for rent.
Given the significant concerns raised in the available customer reviews regarding pest infestations, unresponsive management, and misrepresentation of amenities, it is highly improbable that the park would be actively promoting itself with special offers. Instead, any "offer" would simply be the standard terms of lot rental, which would need to be thoroughly investigated by a prospective resident.
Therefore, for any information regarding current lot rental rates, move-in costs, or other financial terms, interested individuals must contact Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park directly. However, based on the customer feedback, it is strongly advised to approach any such discussions with caution and to seek comprehensive clarification on all aspects of tenancy, including pest control responsibilities, maintenance protocols, and the actual availability and condition of all advertised amenities.
For individuals who may still wish to inquire directly about Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park, perhaps to clarify reported issues or confirm current availability, the following contact information is provided.

When making contact, it is crucial to be prepared with very specific questions regarding the park's current condition, pest control measures, maintenance responsiveness, and the current status of all advertised amenities, especially the pool. Obtaining clear and verifiable answers to these concerns is paramount for any prospective resident.
Based on the provided customer reviews, it is challenging to recommend Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park as broadly "suitable" for locals in North Carolina, or any prospective resident, without significant caveats and a strong recommendation for extreme caution and thorough due diligence. The concerns raised by current or past residents are severe and directly impact habitability and quality of life.
In general, mobile home parks can be suitable for locals seeking more affordable housing options, a sense of community, or a more flexible living arrangement than traditional housing. However, the specific issues reported for Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park, such as pervasive roach infestations that are difficult to eradicate, unresponsive management, and potentially misleading advertising regarding amenities like a non-functional pool, present substantial barriers to a comfortable and satisfactory living experience.
For North Carolina locals considering this park, the potential for affordability might be the primary draw. However, any perceived financial savings could be quickly overshadowed by the costs and stress associated with a severe pest problem, unresolved maintenance issues, and the frustration of unresponsive management. The fundamental aspects of a livable home—hygiene, comfort, and responsive support—appear to be significantly compromised, according to the reviews.
Therefore, while the park is located in Fayetteville and might offer an accessible address, its suitability for locals is highly questionable unless all reported issues have been demonstrably and thoroughly resolved. Prospective residents in North Carolina are strongly advised to:
-
Visit the property in person: Inspect any potential mobile home thoroughly for signs of infestation or structural issues.
-
Verify amenities: Confirm the operational status of all advertised facilities, especially the pool.
-
Engage with management directly: Ask pointed questions about pest control protocols, maintenance request procedures, and response times. Request these commitments in writing.
-
Seek current resident testimonials: If possible, speak with current residents to get a real-time understanding of conditions.
Without concrete evidence that these significant issues have been rectified, Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park, as described by public reviews, poses considerable risks that could make it an unsuitable living choice for locals in North Carolina seeking a stable and comfortable home.
