The Woods at Plaza Drive - RV Park is situated at 2000-2054 Plaza Dr, Harrisonville, MO 64701, USA. Harrisonville is the county seat of Cass County, Missouri, and offers a prime location for travelers. It lies just off Interstate 49 (I-49), a major north-south highway that connects Kansas City to points south in Missouri and Arkansas. This direct access to I-49 is a significant advantage, making the RV park incredibly easy to find and reach for those traveling through the region, whether for an overnight stop or a longer visit.
Despite its urban address within Harrisonville, the park aims to offer a natural ambiance. It's described as featuring "flat terrain with scattered trees" and a "meandering stream," providing a more scenic backdrop than some purely urban RV parks. This allows guests to enjoy a sense of the outdoors while still being within city limits.
The proximity to Harrisonville's city center means that guests have convenient access to a variety of local amenities. Restaurants, shopping centers, and entertainment options are all "close by," making it easy to stock up on supplies, grab a meal, or enjoy some local leisure activities without extensive travel. Customer Reviews
Very cramped and sites are not level. If you have a big rig stay away from the small creek, sites are on top of each other. Do not take the map as gospel as you have very little to no room between sites. They can't tell you if your rig will fit in a space or not. (This happened to me) was going to stay for six weeks, but my rig would not fit into a spot they said was 60 feet. There were trees and not enough room for my slides without touching another camper. The sites in the back are the best but those always seem like there are long term campers there. The pull through sites are OK, but not very level. There is no camp host on site and no laundry. I would go up I49 a few miles to Peculiar. Large campground, just make reservations!!
This place is a postage stamp small. However it is in the city and people complaining about it being next to the highway should’ve probably looked on Google Maps before they made the reservation. It’s pretty clear that it’s right in the middle of the city. I’m not sure what people expect here. Having said that, it’s really really small for any trailer over 25 feet. My recommendation to ownership would be to grind out the tree stump between the pull through sites. It’s a danger to all involved. When we arrived, the site that we had selected was way too small for our camper, so I called the number and they did immediately answer and found me another spot that actually ended up being in a really nice spot.
Simple and small spaces. Great for those working in the area. Road noise isn’t too intrusive other than the occasional Jake brake from the interstate.
Found on RV Trip Wizard. I like the camp now that I am familiar with it but the directions from Apple Maps lead me to the office down the street. Thanks goodness they had a large back lot I could turn around in. The space was very uneven, but not terrible. All hook ups were good. There are a lot of large rocks and stumps close to the single drive through circle to be aware of but if you are aware, not hard to navigate. I suggested to the office that they need a sign indicating that it is a single ingress/egress point and that this “IS” where you need to turn in. The office was good to work with for some mail and packages we had. Nice bunch!
Was a nice park but had no grass. All the landscaping was bark. And since we had flash flood watches during our stay that meant for muddy dogs and a muddy trailer. Also the bark landscaping was flooded into our spot. Spot 23 is very long but the utilities are at the very end, about 25 feet away from where you want to park. Luckily most campers come prepared like we do so it wasn't much of an issue. The spots aren't very level so midnight arrivals like ours prevent trailer leveling lol. The park had some road noise but we couldn't hear it over the a/c. Otherwise quiet. I'd definitely recommend it.
