Customer Reviews
This a gem of a find!!! If you like real outdoorsy camping this is the place. Wide rustic spaces with the convenience Of full hook ups. Beautiful natural scenery and peaceful quiet nature all around. The owner is fantastic and we will be visiting this place often. The only thing I would add is a little playground set for kiddos but this is an AWESOME true camping experience. Not a sardine packed resort.
Great campground!! We stayed here for about 3 weeks, Bob the owner took very good care of us. He is super friendly and would do anything for anyone. Kids can borrow games from the store, and a nice shaded field to play in. No wifi or TV, but DVDs came in handy for rainy days. We will stay here again whenever we come back to montauk.
We have been staying here for years. Sure, you have a short drive to the park, but you also don't have all the strict rules of the park. We have dogs. One is high energy. We are able to have her off a leash to play Frisbee in an open field. It's not a fancy campground, but to us, it's well worth the drive!
I love this place. The owners are just totally awsome. The place is clean and not cluttered like your state park campground. My go to weekend resort and a little fishing at Montauk and maybe a float on the beautiful Current River
Very nice campground. Love to stay here when we go fishing at Montauk. The people at Tradewinds go above and beyond to make your stay great.
