Customer Reviews
Really quaint campground. Small but big on friendliness! Nick and Erin are more than accommodating. We even were told we could burn any of the downed trees, they recently had many dead trees taken down and are still working on cleaning them up. Close to 2 towns so anything you may need is close by. Dixon Mounds Museum is a nearby attraction. There's not much for kids to do, but that helps keep the place quiet! Never made it to the bath house (only stayed one night), so my only negative is that it is close to a highway. I would suggest a fence or bushes to help cut the road noise, other than that I'd say 9.5/10 definitely would come back!
Very nice small RV park with lots of space between sites and lots of grass. The owners are super nice people. The reason for the 3 stars is because it used to be a mobile home park, so the water and sewer are in-between the two concrete pads you park on, so they are under your RV, unless you have enough hose to pull fare forward. The other reason for the 3 star review is because at 6'4" I don't fit in our RV shower, so I count on the campground shower. The bathroom at this campground was very dirty and in major need of upgrading. It has one toilet and one shower. The shower is small and it has a wooden pallet you stand on, which has rotted due to being wet all of the time. In short, it is nasty. But the park is small, pretty, and owned by really nice people.
Great place for seniors to gather, visit, and play bluegrass music. The place is small compared to most campgrounds, thereby offering a family atmosphere without being a congestive over populated community. Rates are reasonable, with hookups for both big, and small, RV’s. If you enjoy grinning and picking bring your banjo, mandolin, guitar, Bass etc. and join in. Southern Gospel played here too!
Stayed here several times. Small place with huge room. Nick and Erinn are amazing people who help in any way. We live 3 hrs away and when we come to visit family we always park the camper there. When my wifes grandpa was sick they were very understanding and accommodating for us. Can't speak highly enough of the people here
Plenty of space between campers. The owners are caring and attentive. Property is well maintained.
