1075 RV Resort About
Hello, fellow Floridians and RV travelers! When you're cruising through our beautiful state, sometimes you need a straightforward, convenient place to park your rig for the night. While many RV resorts in Florida offer a plethora of amenities, some parks cater to a more minimalist approach, focusing on the essentials. Today, we're going to take a closer look at 1075 RV Resort in Lake City, Florida, to give you a clear and factual understanding of what to expect, based on recent customer feedback.
RV parks serve a diverse range of needs, from luxury resorts with pools and clubhouses to simple, pull-through spots designed for quick overnight stays. Understanding the specific offerings of a park before you arrive is crucial for a smooth journey. For some, a basic, no-frills site with essential hookups is exactly what's needed after a long day of driving. For others, a comprehensive list of recreational facilities is a top priority. Our goal here is to provide transparency, enabling you to determine if 1075 RV Resort aligns with your travel style and expectations.
This article will provide you with an honest and informative overview of 1075 RV Resort. We'll cover its location and accessibility, outline the services that are generally available, detail key features and highlights as reported by customers, and provide contact information. This factual approach will help you make an informed decision for your next stop in the Lake City area.
1075 RV Resort is located at 108 NW Bengi Ln, Lake City, FL 32055, USA. Lake City is a prominent city in Columbia County, situated in North Florida at the crossroads of major interstate highways, I-75 and I-10. This strategic location makes Lake City a very common stop for travelers moving east-west across the top of Florida or north-south through the state.
The park's address on NW Bengi Lane suggests it is set slightly back from the busiest thoroughfares, though some customer reviews mention "loud traffic noise," indicating a proximity to I-10. This makes it highly accessible for those seeking a convenient overnight spot directly off the interstate system. While the immediate surroundings might be more focused on quick access, Lake City itself offers a range of services including gas stations, grocery stores, various dining options, and access to local attractions. These attractions include numerous natural springs and parks in the wider North Florida region, which are often just a short drive away, providing opportunities for outdoor activities if you plan a longer stay.
Based on direct customer reviews, it's important to set accurate expectations regarding the services offered at 1075 RV Resort. While the park does provide the fundamental needs for RV travelers, it is noted for its minimalist approach to amenities.
- RV Sites with Hookups: The primary service offered is a gravel spot for your RV. Customer reviews indicate that 50-amp power sources are available, though one user experienced an E2 error with their surge device on the 50-amp, requiring them to use 30-amp for the night. This suggests that while hookups are provided, their reliability can vary. Full hookups (water, electric, sewer) are generally expected for RV parks.
- Trash Disposal: Guests receive a place to dispose of their trash.
Conversely, multiple reviews explicitly state what is NOT available, which is crucial for potential guests to understand:
- No Dog Park (despite website claims)
- No Showers
- No Office
- No Clubhouse
- No Bathrooms
- No Laundry Facilities
This indicates that 1075 RV Resort focuses primarily on providing a basic site with utilities, rather than a full-service resort experience with extensive communal facilities. Travelers should be self-sufficient regarding personal hygiene, pet exercise, and laundry.
The key features and highlights of 1075 RV Resort, as consistently reported by real customers, revolve around its practicality and a specific type of environment.
- Convenient Overnight Stop: Several reviewers highlight that the park serves as a "convenient overnight spot." Its location near major interstates (I-10 and I-75) in Lake City makes it a practical choice for travelers needing a quick stop on their journey without detouring far.
- "Quiet" Atmosphere (with caveats): One reviewer explicitly states, "It’s quiet," while another mentions "loud traffic noise." This disparity might depend on the specific site location within the park relative to the highway, but suggests that while it may not be bustling, some external noise can be present. For those seeking quiet from other campers, it may deliver.
- "Decent People": The phrase "people there are decent" suggests a generally respectful and low-key atmosphere among residents, contributing to a non-problematic stay.
- Basic, No-Frills Experience: The primary highlight, if it aligns with your needs, is its straightforward, no-frills approach. It offers a gravel spot and essential hookups without the added cost or distractions of extensive amenities. This can be a benefit for those who just need a place to park and sleep.
It is important to note that many stated "features" on the park's website (like a dog park) are explicitly contradicted by customer reviews, which state "No dog park like their website says, promise after promise for amenities and they still haven’t showed up." Therefore, the true highlights are its convenience for overnight stays and its relatively quiet internal environment, as perceived by some guests, despite external traffic noise.
As a professional content writer, it is paramount to provide factual and current information. Based on the provided customer reviews and typical public data availability for RV parks, there are no specific, publicly advertised promotions or special offers for 1075 RV Resort. The reviews primarily focus on the base "fee" for a stay.
One reviewer did express a concern about the $70 fee for the perceived lack of amenities, suggesting that a price point around $40 would be more acceptable given the current offerings. While this isn't a "promotion," it indicates that guests are sensitive to the value proposition.
RV parks sometimes offer discounts for extended stays (weekly or monthly rates), for members of RV associations (like Good Sam Club or AAA), or for specific groups (e.g., seniors, military). However, without direct information from 1075 RV Resort, we cannot confirm any such offers. Prospective guests are strongly encouraged to contact the RV park directly to inquire about their current rates and any potential discounts they may offer. This is the most reliable way to get up-to-date pricing.
For inquiries, pricing information, or to book a spot at 1075 RV Resort, you can contact them directly using the provided details:

For Floridians on the go, 1075 RV Resort in Lake City presents a very specific utility: it's a practical and straightforward stop for those who prioritize location over amenities. For locals traveling through North Florida, particularly along I-10 or I-75, its suitability lies in its sheer convenience for an overnight stay.
If your RV is fully self-contained and you do not require communal facilities such as restrooms, showers, laundry, or a dog park, then 1075 RV Resort could be a viable option. Its "quiet" atmosphere, as described by some, might appeal to those seeking a simple, undisturbed night's rest, despite potential traffic noise from the nearby interstate.
It is crucial for local users to understand that this RV park appears to operate as a minimalist facility. It provides a gravel spot with electrical hookups and trash disposal, but little else in terms of amenities or on-site services. Therefore, it is best suited for experienced RVers who are self-sufficient and simply need a place to connect utilities for a night or two while en route. For those seeking a resort-style experience with recreational facilities, common areas, or extensive guest services, other options in the Lake City area would likely be more appropriate. In essence, 1075 RV Resort is for the RVer who values convenience and a basic hookup over a full range of resort amenities.
Customer Reviews
Although it was a convenient overnight spot for us, we felt the park was not worth the $70 fee. Zero amenities, trashy trailers with junk all around them, loud traffic noise and our Watchdog surge device had an E2 error from the 50 amp power source. We had to use the 30 for the night. Honestly, if it was $40 or so, we would have accepted all the issues but not $70.
It’s quiet, people there are decent. No amenities at all There is no dog park like their website says, promise after promise for amenities and they still haven’t showed up. Owner is more concerned about expanding and adding more spaces than providing what current occupants need. Just to reiterate No Dog park, No Showers, No office, No clubhouse, No Bathrooms. No laundry facilities. NOTHING With your rental you get a gravel spot and a place to throw your trash away. I mean if that works for, they hey this place is great. Otherwise, I’d steer clear.
Nice quiet park, walking distance to grocery and good Mexican food. No amenities. Our 50 amp did not work (space17), but we were fine with 30 amp. Easy to get to from highway.
Nice little park, quiet and great for overnight stop. No amenities of any kind other than full hook ups. No bathrooms or showers. Wish google let you split stars deserves more than 4 but not a 5. Would stay again.
Great little stop over! Convenient location, easy pull-throughs with plenty of room for big rvs/trailers and surprisingly quiet for being close to main road. It appears to very new, but you can see they're hard at work. Will get prettier and more private as the landscaping matures. Nice stop-over. We'd stop again.
