Chaparral RV Park is situated at 100 E Bradford Ln, Sweetwater, TX 79556, USA. Sweetwater itself is a significant city in Nolan County, known for its strategic location directly on Interstate 20 (I-20). This major east-west thoroughfare is one of the busiest in Texas, making Chaparral RV Park highly accessible for RVers traveling across the state, whether heading toward the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex or westward towards El Paso and beyond.
The park's address on E Bradford Lane suggests it's positioned within close proximity to major roads, which is generally a benefit for ease of access with a large RV. Its location near I-20 offers a straightforward entry and exit point, minimizing the need for complex navigation through city streets. This direct highway access is a key advantage for transient travelers seeking a convenient overnight stop.
However, it's important to address a specific point raised in customer feedback regarding its proximity to the interstate. One review mentioned that "It's so close to the interstate it sounds like the traffic is coming into the RV." While direct access to I-20 is a plus for travel convenience, prospective guests should be aware that this close proximity can lead to noticeable road noise. For some RVers, this might be a minor consideration, while for others seeking absolute quiet, it could be a significant factor.
Additionally, another review noted that "It's hard to get in and out of as well." This suggests that while the overall location near a major highway is convenient, the specific entry and exit points to the park itself might require careful maneuvering, particularly for larger rigs. RVers accustomed to wide, easily navigable entrances should consider this feedback. Despite these considerations, the primary benefit of Chaparral RV Park's location remains its immediate accessibility from a major Texas interstate.

I have been here 2 months now and I like it. You get free cable, and you can get your own WiFi. The WiFi at the park is not very good. Nice people living here rent did go up but is still affordable. The people that own it are trying to make it better just takes time, wishes there was an on site person.
Mar 14, 2023 · Coby HamlinIt's the worst rv park we've been to. It's so close to the interstate it sounds like the traffic is coming into the rv. There's stickers all over the gravel that got into our vehicle and all through the rv. The wifi was so bad we couldn't watch TV or use the computer. Unless you're desperate avoid this place. It's hard to get in and out of as well.
Nov 27, 2021 · lesliedietrichIf I could give zero stars I would. Called for a 1 night reservation. The woman on the phone said they had 2 drive thru's available. Should have been suspicious when she didn't ask for a name or payment. Asked again to make sure the openings were pull through, again she said yes. Arrived at the park. They may be making improvements but they are NOT in place or useable. The 2 slot numbers the woman gave me were NOT drive thrus, one was occupied and the other had a large pile of gravel. And were back in's and could not see any connections. In fact there were no drive thru's. The rest of the park was marginal. DON'T GO HERE.
May 09, 2021 · S LaneThe pull through spots are new and ok. The wifi is hit or miss, mostly miss. Some road noise but pretty quiet at night. Everything has to be done by phone. Because no one answers at the office. Besides that it's an ok place for short term stays.
