As a state park campground, Deep Fork Campground primarily operates with standard daily rates. While specific, formalized "promotions" in the retail sense are uncommon, there are ways for Oklahoma residents to find value and potentially more enjoyable experiences. Here’s what to consider regarding pricing and potential offers:

  • Standard Daily Rates: Campsite rates for Oklahoma State Parks typically vary based on hookup availability (e.g., electric-only, water/electric, full hookup) and the time of year. It’s always best to check the official Oklahoma State Parks website or call the campground directly for the most current pricing.

  • Shoulder Season Advantage: As noted by a customer, the "shoulder season" (typically spring and fall, outside of peak summer) is recommended for a return visit. During these times, campgrounds are often less crowded, which can lead to a more peaceful experience and potentially better availability of preferred sites. While not a direct "discount," it offers enhanced value through improved ambiance.

  • Senior and Veteran Discounts: Oklahoma State Parks often offer discounts for senior citizens and veterans. Oklahomans who qualify should inquire about these potential savings when booking their site.

  • Oklahoma State Parks Pass: For frequent visitors to Oklahoma State Parks, purchasing an annual park pass might offer overall savings on day-use fees or other park amenities, though it typically does not directly reduce campsite rental fees.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information on rates, availability, and any potential applicable discounts or seasonal considerations, Oklahomans should contact Deep Fork Campground directly. They can provide precise details and help you plan your ideal camping trip.

The campground was almost completely empty but strangely the restrooms were very (very!) Dirty. I'm not sure what's going on there because it's a beautiful campground with great amenities. We saw a coyote and many deer. The walking paths were well groomed and plentiful. It's a lovely place... but the restrooms were gross.

Good level pads, backing in wasn't very hard. The sites are fairly spaced with good shade. Some of the firepits are in strange places. I had no issues with the hookups or the dump site. Nice big showers, clean bathrooms (at least in March). The Nature Center was interesting, we enjoyed the Nocturnal Room. I had a strange hitch problem that the Camp host graciously resolved for me. I would happily return, especially in the shoulder season.

Overall we are happy with our stay. 5 miles south of I40, easy to find. Campground is mostly empty this time of year so very quiet and relaxing. Online reservations only and no check-in needed. The online reservation system is wonky so double check what your site actually has by calling. Filtered for 50A sites and selected a 50A site. When we arrived it was a 30A site. Not a big deal as the temps were only in the 50s but if it was the summer it would have been an issue to run camper and both AC units. Campground could definitely use some updating, the power connection boxes look like they are on their last legs. Good water pressure-45 PSI.

I like this place a lot! Each space is clearly marked. They even have a few tent pads with electricity and water. BBQ grills, tables and fire pits at pads. They have a playground for kids. A big open grassy area to set up your badminton net or corn hole boards.
