Lori is amazing! She was so welcoming and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this campsite; it was restful and relaxing and the beach is the perfect place to catch the sunset. The showers were always hot and sparkling clean; the best I’ve ever seen at a campground. :) There were several fun surprises around the campground, including wild black raspberries and a rope swing, but you’ll have to go check it out yourself to get the full experience! Highly recommend!
Sep 02, 2025 · Meghan StoltzfusThe rooms are campsites! Lovely, small campground with most sites having an ocean view. Super clean vault toilets, well run with great staff. Site 5 was large, secluded, level. Very close drinking water, and electric plug. They have a dump site and WIFI at the office along with a book and DVD library. September is a great month to go!
Sep 23, 2025 · Tobi GilbertThis is my favorite campground anywhere in The United States of America, and I’ve stayed at likely over 100 of them. It’s hard to describe why, but everything is just nice. The bathrooms are pit toilets, but somehow nicer than any of the modern toilets at state parks or other private campgrounds. Everything just feels clean, and nice and friendly and peaceful. There’s little touches like: they seem to frequently refresh the mulch in the various trails around the site (like to the beach), or the really nice outdoor (still private) showers. Or the office just feels cozy. Some of the sites are close together, but don’t feel like it. Everything is on a slope, so almost every site has a good view. It’s a really nice campground and we love it. My wife stayed here for two weeks with my toddlers while I was working nearby, and they spent the time picking berries and walking around the campground and hanging out with the owner, and all they wanted to do when we left was go back.
Aug 14, 2025 · Ryan McdermottLovely campground with everything you could ask for and more. Stayed during a week long bike tour and this was a highlight. The beach was a great place to cool off and catch the sunset (west facing), and the outdoor showers were glorious. To top it off, Lori couldn't have been more friendly. Looking forward to returning!
Aug 18, 2025 · Alex MayoWell you now when you get somewhere and your greeted so nicely. That is what happens here! Lori was amazing, She answered any questions I had. Went over everything with me. Knew everything about the area. The campground was quiet. The ocean I actually went in and I am not a spring chicken. The sunsets there are amazing. I was questioning showering outside but it was amazing. The hot water never ran out. The stars were even looking good. Where can you take a Hot shower and see the stars. I got lots of rest which I needed from having 2 shoulder surgery. You can tell Lori and Paul take a lot of pride in the campground. They are very friendly and they take time to answer questions. I enjoyed my week there. Thank you Lori for everything.
