It's a beautiful campground at a great price. All sites are grass but most drain well and are not soggy when it rains. During our most recent visit tropical depression Helena barreled thru, leaving much destruction in its wake, but the campground remained very nice.

Wasn't sure about this place as it was described as parking in a field with full hookups but turned out to be an awesome campground. People were so friendly, kids playing every day, the amenity pavilion has fire pit w wood, tables, corn hole and other games, free bikes to ride, and the best was the creek behind it. Kids had a blast playing in the creek and riding tubes down. Yes, no picnic table, fire pits at campsites, concrete pads, or a bathhouse with showers... but if you know this going in, the price is very sweet. And the views of the surrounding state parks were great! Easy to access too. Wifi and water pressure were better than any other campground.

Booking on line was super easy, the two men who greeted us on a cart, as we entered the property; even made a change in our space for our views sake. They were very kind and professional; gentlemen in fact. The property is well kept, well marked and easy to navigate, water electric and sewer connections were easy to access. The view of the mountains are majestic and if you take the time to walk into the woods in the rear of the campground and very nice stream with moving water was there and we enjoyed. We will be back.
