Customer Reviews
Beautiful area and super cute campsite! It would definitely be a great place to stay during peak season for blue ghost fireflies. Todd was super kind, and he knows what he’s talking about!
We van camped at Hilltop #2 for two nights. Great place to stay, super quiet, clean bathrooms, hot shower! Picnic table and fire pit with free firewood at the site. Hot tub, outdoor shower, grill, and WiFi available at the lodge. Would stay again!
Beautiful escape, serene; Todd's hospitality is top notch! Thanks for the inside scoop on the wildlife, etc! We absolutely hope to return to this gem! This is a special place!
Peaceful, serene spot to get away from the city and enjoy nature. The weather is cooler in this part, so pack accordingly. I booked hilltop campsite #1. You can tell the owners are also bike riders. There is two toilets and a shower avaliable to both campers and lodgers. There is also a microwave and coffee maker available for use. At the time of this post, campers were able to utilize the jacuzzi and fire pit near the bike lounge. While I didn't, I wish I had! There is a sunrise look out and a few trails on the property to keep you busy during your visit. It looks like the owners have more in mind in terms of expansion, I can't wait to see what that will look like, as I plan to come back!
DuPont bike retreat is a very special place. We spent 3 weeks at the hilltop site and loved every minute of it. The place is nestled in the middle of the mountain and a few mins away from DuPont State forest. Very convenient location if you want to go biking, hiking, swimming in the lakes or visiting waterfalls. The retreat is a real gem! Cathie and Tod have been the best hosts ever. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We felt very pampered. Place is in the woods which we loved, bathrooms are clean, place overall is well looked after and sites are each one of them very unique. We will be back for sure!
