Customer Reviews
Quiet and beautiful campground with great sunsets. Only drawbacks are the vault toilets and lack of showers.
Lovely setting, surrounded by the mountains. We went for the day, just to swim. Nice swimming beach in a cove. Sandy beach with volleyball nets installed, and bathrooms in a building. There's a shower station on the sidewalk, so you can wash off the sand before you leave. $5 per car admission is very reasonable. Not crowded on a hot summer day! No alcohol allowed in the swimming area, but there are many picnic shelters in the surrounding area, and it is allowed there. Plenty of grills and trash cans, and everything was kept very well. Very nice park ranger came through. The cove is out of the way of boat traffic. We'll be back!!
96 degrees out and the water was very cool and refreshing ... There was tons of clean sand on the beach. They had picnic tables on the beach in the sand for people to use with holes in the table to accomodate beach umbrellas. There are clean changing rooms with an air station to inflate all your inflatables. There is a shower station to wash off any beach sand from yourself. There are playgrounds for the kids in the shade. There are picnic areas with tables and grills with water spigots near those. I cannot say enough about how much I like this lake and all it offers. I love it . If you haven't been there; you need to go. I'm going back next weekend and I'll be taking more pictures of everything to show.
Well maintained. Offers life jackets of various sizes free of charge on a first come first serve basis! Something all beaches should have for those times you forget yours. Will happily visit again.
I'd give 5 stars if there were showers available at all, but beach doesn't even have showers. Campsites are well maintained as long as you don't mind geese. More friendly to RV than tent camping, but you can do both.
