Manufactured home communities, often referred to as mobile home parks, represent a significant pathway to achieving that goal for many families, offering a viable alternative to high-cost traditional real estate. Nestled in Westmoreland County,
Sewickley Pines Manor
in West Newton, PA, is one such community that has been undergoing recent transitions aimed at creating a stable and improved living environment for its residents.
Introduction / Overview
Sewickley Pines Manor is a residential manufactured home community located in the West Newton area of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. It serves as a local option for individuals and families seeking a housing solution that combines the benefits of home ownership with the affordability of land-lease arrangements. The history of the community, as reflected in local feedback, has involved recent periods of transition and change, particularly concerning ownership and management. According to resident accounts, the mobile home park changed hands in September 2018 to a Philadelphia-based investment group, which initiated a focus on cleaning up the property, including the removal of older, dilapidated trailers. Subsequently, management was placed under a local real estate agency for a period before a newer, dedicated couple took ownership as of late 2019. These recent changes highlight a commitment to ongoing improvement and stabilization of the community's operations. The goal of the current ownership is clearly to manage the property responsibly and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all residents in this Westmoreland County location. My aunt lives her and this trailer park is worse of an eye sore than McKeesport. There is also a family who is squatting in an abandoned trailer who doesn't treat their kids well at all, but child services turns their heads since they probably give them some drugs to keep their nose out of thier business.
Mar 25, 2019 · GeorgeIts getting to be a better place to live september 2018 it was bought buy a hpd flip out of Philly and they started to clean the up getting old trailers out of here, but was not always on top of things. they hired century 21 fairways as management to go pay rent and if there was and issue.
