This isn't just an RV park; it's a meticulously designed resort that offers a blend of tranquility and upscale amenities, setting it apart as a premier destination. Many long-time owners and first-time visitors alike hail it as one of the best RV resorts, even east of the Mississippi, a testament to its quality and serene environment.

What makes Traverse Bay RV Resort so appealing is its thoughtful balance. While it provides a peaceful escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, it remains conveniently close to the vibrant downtown area of Traverse City. This means you can enjoy the quiet serenity of the resort's 150 acres of trees, ponds, and meadows, then easily venture out to explore the city's renowned attractions, dining, and shops. The expansive, well-maintained sites, often described as "nice wide sites," ensure comfort and privacy for every guest.

The resort's commitment to excellence is evident in every detail, from the impeccably manicured landscaping to the top-tier facilities. Guests consistently praise the "excellent staff" who contribute to the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. For RV enthusiasts with Class A, Class C, and 5th wheels (28 feet or longer and no more than 10 years old, as per park restrictions), Traverse Bay RV Resort offers a sophisticated and relaxing home-away-from-home, inviting them to unwind and enjoy the best of Northern Michigan.

Traverse Bay RV Resort is ideally situated at 5555 M-72, Williamsburg, MI 49690, USA. Promotions or Special Offers:

Traverse Bay RV Resort offers various rental rates and occasional promotions designed to attract RV enthusiasts to its upscale facilities. While it's a premium resort, it does provide structured opportunities for savings.

Key rental rate structure includes daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal options. Specific daily rates vary by season:

  • Spring Rates (May 1 – May 15): $79.00 per night*
  • Shoulder Rates (May 16 – June 12 & September 2 – October 5): $89.00 per night*
  • Peak Rates (June 13 – September 1): $115.00 per night
  • Fall Rates (October 6 – October 19): $79.00 per night*

*Promotional offers apply during Spring, Shoulder, and Fall (off-peak) dates, which include:

  • 4th night is half price.
  • 7th night is free with a weekly stay.

These specific discounts do not apply during the Peak dates.

For longer stays, the resort offers:

  • Monthly/Seasonal Rental Rates: A $10.00 per day discount off the posted daily rate for a minimum of 30 paid consecutive days. This means a 30-day stay can receive a $300 discount.

Trevor Bay is a very nice RV park with nice wide sites. It’s a little north of the downtown area so you’re not in all hustle and bustle but it’s easy to get to. It doesn’t take very long. We’ve been owners there for at least five or six years.

TBRVR-Is a fabulous adult oriented, dog friendly RV Resort for 5th Wheel TT, Class C & Class A rigs 28“ or longer & 10yrs old or newer. The resort is beautiful, very well maintained and conveniently located minutes outside of all that Traverse City has to offer, including, Lake Michigan, wineries, golf, walking, hiking and bike trails. The resort has a pool, hot tub, pickleball, tennis and dog run. We liked it so much we bought a lot! They do stipulate kit rental site location is not guaranteed as they will shuffle to accommodate as many rentals as possible. They do work hard to accommodate requests but also to maximize availability.

Excellent RV Resort. My husband and I Workamp, and have been lots of places. This one is towards the top of the list! We had (4) days off and drove here to spend some time in a new park and new City. Boy are we glad we did. People were friendly, resort was very clean and close to lots of things To Do. They are pet friendly and the grounds are immaculate! We cannot wait to return one day.

Promised a pull in waterfront site when making the reservation. Called again 3 weeks in advance and once again confirmed a "pull in waterfront site". I also mentioned that I was a Good Sam member and if asked if I would get the 10% discount listed on RV Trip Wizard (didn't see this listed on their site). The answer was yes. Checked in and got the discount, but then was given a back in site, so the water view was useless to us - our big Class A windshield viewed other RV's. Very disappointing. I don't know if the change was because of the discount but wasn't expecting the bait and switch. Anyway, this was a very well maintained and attractive park. Much nicer than a typical campground, but I would not call it a resort. For the most part their lakes were merely nice drainage ditches. Traverse City was great. I won't stay here again due to the dishonesty up front.
