We were just traveling through so we were OK with not having access to a pool. The campground was lovely and we enjoyed seeing all the seasonal/permanent campers - a lot of "house pride" with cute decorations and well kept sites. On the negative side, we didn't get the code to get through the gate from the office (a resident let us in) and the site had not been cleaned from the last camper and had lots of trash. We would definitely recommend this campground for a short stay.

I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. They have let the sites go and not taken care of them. The Pool is closed down all season, The best part of the whole stay was the golf cart parade. The office staff is very rude. This was my second time staying here. Last year the place was really nice but since the new people took over, it has went down hill. I came to town for business and told the girl in the office I needed to stay for about 6weeks or so, she proceeds to tell me I have to do a background check if staying more than a month. No problem! I filled out the paperwork and turned it back in to the office. I received a call from the office 33days later and she said that my background check hadn't came back yet and that I needed to remove my camper and myself from the property IMMEDIATELY!!! So I made some phone calls and found a really nice campground 5 min away and moved the next day. Five days later after I moved out, the office called me ( The same Rude Girl) and said my background check had came back and that I can come back and stay until the end of the season!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! AND NEVER AGAIN...SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND.

I stayed in an RV spot for 8 days. 5 of those days there were campers location right outside my door. There were at least 20+ spots available in the 3 isles in that section of the park. I asked the management about why they had to assign groups of campers right next to my spot. The Manager Lia was so rude from the start of the conversation. She told me that I need to reserve 3 spots when I go camping to ensure "no one will be next to me". I explained that I understand people will be next to me while camping, but not expecting to have them "within 5 feet" of my spot when there are 20+ other spots available. She had no understanding or consideration as to my point of view. She told me 3 times "that if I didn't like it I could leave". The one set of campers next to me started a big fire in the pit the morning they left and it burned and smoldered all day with ashes blowing into my door. They left a bunch of trash and dog food there as well. Management never came to check the site after they checked out and assigned someone to that spot the next day. I told her about that and she told me "that I should have called the office to let them know about the fire".... NO, it's your job to check the sites to make sure they are clean for the next guest. I asked for her district managers information and she said "you can contact them, but I'm on going to call them right now and tell them about you". The washers and dryers are all rusty and will stain your clothes. I spoke to several of the annuals there and they said the management doesn't care and is rude to lots of them as well. I never write bad reviews, but this manager Lia is the worst ever! I have never experienced anyone like this before. I will never go there again. It's a nice area, but plan on finding a better managed park to stay next time.

Our main issues and why we will not be returning: The pool was in disrepair and closed, and we were not notified ahead of time. This is a big disappointment when we chose our sites based on proximity to pool and it is one of your biggest amenities. The recreation building, or whatever it's called, was rented out all weekend. Which is fine, except for the fact that these guests were allowed to blast loud pounding music until well past midnight on Friday and Saturday night. I don't understand how this is acceptable when the rest of the campground supposedly has quiet hours beginning at 10pm. We were in the tent area which is only maybe 100ft. from this building. Also, no one is around past 6pm in the store or otherwise to enforce anything. So the store is unavailable for food or any other needs, and again, guests were allowed to ride their golf carts around until well past 10pm playing loud music or honking horns. The website misrepresents the amenities and the care for guest satisfaction overall. When there are photos on the campground website that display putt putt being played later at night with fun lights glowing, we were confused when the store and any activities requiring equipment (i.e. the putt putt) closed at 6pm. When we talked with any of the staff about our concerns, of course all they could do was shrug their shoulders and say "sorry". Which is unfortunately not helpful. The bathrooms were mediocre at best. Sharing one sink with not only members of the campground but also the group renting the building all weekend was not ideal. The men's bathroom (showers specifically) were described as very gross and unclean. And 2 of the 3 showers were out of order. Again, overall we did not have a good experience and will sadly not be returning. The only nice thing about the campground was the park. And the beach was alright as well.

We stayed here this past weekend and how disappointing it was. We have been camping here for the last 3 years now and this weekend was our first this year. The campground looks so deteriorated. Pool was green and closed. Bath house right after the pool is in such poor shape. Toilets are cracked, huge hazard! The handicap bathrooms full of mold and very smelly. Smelled like sewage while taking a shower and there’s no ventilation taking that out. At least it had hot water I guess… Our site was full of pine cones that we had to clear out ourselves to be able to have a decent spot. Also tree branches not trimmed all over the roads hitting the trailer… for the amount you have to pay for a weekend is so NOT worth it anymore. Is just so sad, we use to love camping in Twin Mills, not anymore ☹️.
