However, the experience is far more comprehensive than just the water activities. The property is designed for immersion in the great outdoors, offering everything from quiet fishing spots in the "BassHole" to exploring scenic trails around the lush grounds. We had a fantastic experience at Wake in the Woods! The accommodations were beautiful and clean, and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Even though it was cooler, my children had a blast in the aqua park. They also enjoyed roaming around the trails on the property, playing the various games spread throughout the grounds, and absolutely LOVED the inflatables. Thanks for a great time!
Aug 30, 2025 · Dana COur family of 4 had a great visit to Wake in the Woods to enjoy the Aquapark and some of the other activities on the grounds. Our boys (12 & 15) had a blast in the water. We felt totally safe as 2 lifeguards were present. It's a great way to mix things up at a very reasonable price and we look forward to our next visit.
Jul 11, 2025 · Shawn LoweryIf I can give this place 10 stars I would! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm genuine hospitality. The staff here went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout our entire stay. Whether we had a question, needed a recommendation, or just passed by everyone was friendly, attentive, and truly accommodating. But the highlight of our visit was definitely the aqua park! It was an absolute blast -clean, safe, and filled with fun for all ages. The slides, splash zones, obstacle course kept us entertained . You could see the joy on everyone’s faces, from kids to adults. It’s rare to find a place that combines great service with such a fun, energetic atmosphere. We made memories here that we’ll cherish forever. Can’t wait to come back!
Jul 07, 2025 · Luis OspinaI had the pleasure of spending the weekend here. If was very peaceful and relaxing. The view is amazing. They have community hammocks where I ended up talking 2 naps. While my site came with a fire ring, the friendly staff had a community fire pit so I didn't have to start and tend to it. There were lots of activities for my kids to do including corn hole, inflatable games, pedal boats, horseshoes, and of course the aquapark, which my kids loved. Also, free WI-FI. They even have a stand with slushies and popcorn which is my son's favorite. At night, they set off an amazing fireworks display. I can't wait to come back!
Aug 31, 2025 · Dan ChincariniWe all had a great time! Pros: -Our family reserved multiple camp sites (RV, Glamping and Tent) and had the place to ourselves all weekend. -Enough activities to keep everyone active/engaged. -The Aqua Park was a ton of fun and a clearly a HUGE investment made by the owners. -Responsive, friendly and overly accomodating management/ownership and staff. - Endless hot water for showering. - Close to civilization so you can buy all the stuff you forgot. - Free wifi to watch a Yankees game. Cons: - The Yankees lost while watching on their wifi (probably not their fault) - I was in a tent and was the only sucker without A/C (not their fault). - I'm not very limber and found navigating the Aqua Park exhausting (not their fault). - I got bit by three mosquitos. (Maybe their fault?) Conclusion: Awesome campsite. You should go.
