Location and Accessibility

Woodbury RV Park is conveniently located on Lock 4 Rd, Morgantown, KY 42261, USA. Morgantown itself is a small, charming town in Butler County, Kentucky, known for its rural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. For those traveling with RVs, the straightforward access to Lock 4 Road from main routes ensures an easier journey. The rural setting means less road noise, especially at night, which is a major draw for campers seeking peace and quiet. While direct river access may be limited by a steep slope, the proximity to the river enhances the natural feel of the park.

Promotions or Special Offers

As a small, community-supported RV park, Woodbury RV Park typically operates with straightforward, transparent pricing rather than complex promotional schemes. The cost is clearly stated as $25 per night, which is a set rate designed to be accessible and to support the park's maintenance by the local community. It is unlikely to find seasonal discounts or loyalty programs in the same way larger commercial RV resorts might offer.

However, the "offer" here is inherent in the value provided: a quiet, clean, and well-maintained site with essential hookups, modern restrooms, and a friendly atmosphere at a consistent price point.

Prospective visitors should always:

  • Confirm Current Rates: While $25/night is stated in a review, it's always best to confirm the most current pricing directly with the park manager, as rates can occasionally change.
  • Inquire about Long-Term Stays: For extended visits, it's worth asking if there are any weekly or monthly rates that might offer a slight discount compared to the nightly rate, though this is not explicitly stated.

Given the direct contact number, calling the camphost is the best way to get the most up-to-date information on any potential arrangements or confirmed pricing for your stay.

The good: really quiet at night. Camphost is awesome. Near a river, which we like. Supports a small town. Nice concrete pads. Excellent restroom The bad: when we visited there was biting gnats (probably because the camp is sandwiched between a corn field and a river), limited access to the river due to steep slope (no dock or pier), lack of signage (host said they are getting them printed though), on the expensive side for what it is a small city park with no clubhouse, pier, partial hookups, etc) The ugly: a local likes to fly down the gravel road on his atv a couple times a day. Can't beat the nights though. No bright lights and almost no road noise at night! Verizon had one car without booster (still got enough to work but it was slow) with a booster it was good. Half an hour into Bowling Green.

Very nice RV park next to a river. 14 concreted places not too close together with water and power hookup. Basic bathroom facilities are also available. We stayed a few days and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Didn't try fishing, though there is a boat ramp further on.
