Y'all Come Back RV About
Are you an RVer in Mississippi, perhaps journeying along US-98 or simply looking for a quiet, convenient spot to rest for a few nights? Y'all Come Back RV in Lucedale, Mississippi, aims to be that welcoming stop. As a family-owned and operated park, it strives to create a comfortable and natural setting for those passing through or needing a short-term base. While every park has its unique characteristics, Y'all Come Back RV focuses on offering a peaceful environment with essential services for the transient RVer.
For Mississippians on the road, finding an RV park that is easy to access, especially after a long day of driving, and offers a quiet reprieve is often a priority. Y'all Come Back RV is positioned to serve this need, providing a no-frills, scenic option that can be a convenient waypoint on your journey. Understanding the specifics of what this park offers can help you decide if it’s the right fit for your next stop in the Magnolia State.
Y'all Come Back RV is located at 14119 US-98, Lucedale, MS 39452, USA. This direct frontage on US-98 is a double-edged sword, offering incredible convenience for travelers but also requiring careful attention upon approach. US-98 is a major thoroughfare, making the park easily accessible for those traversing Mississippi or heading to nearby Mobile, Alabama, or the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Its location near the Mississippi-Alabama border also makes it a practical stop for cross-state travel.
However, some visitors have noted that the park can be "hard to spot in the dark as it's just a driveway off the 98 with a smallish, unlighted sign set back from the road." This means that if you're driving quickly or arriving at night, you'll need to be vigilant to avoid missing the entrance. While the convenience of being on a main route is a plus, extra caution, especially during evening hours, is advised for easy and safe entry. Despite this, its placement is a clear advantage for those looking for a quick and direct stop without extensive detours.

- Family Owned and Operated: The park emphasizes its family ownership, aiming to make guests "part of our family" and create a "home away from home." This personal approach can lead to a more attentive and caring service.
It is important for prospective visitors to be aware of some challenges highlighted in reviews:
- Site Conditions: Reviews indicate that sites can be "very unlevel and just dirt," leading to problems with levelers sinking in "soft soil." One reviewer also noted that "in the rain yesterday it was a mud pit" and suggested improvements like "gravel at least, widening of sites, and more than just a bulldozed strip to park on."
- Maneuvering Difficulties: Larger RVs (like a 39’ fifth wheel or even a 32-foot rig) may find spots "rather small" and "very hard to back into, especially in the dark." The turning area at the end of the park is described as "too small even for our 32 foot," with a warning about getting stuck.
- Pricing Transparency/Value: One review stated a charge of "$45.80 for one night which is extremely over priced for what it was," given "no amenities at all" (though online listings indicate WiFi and full hookups). It’s crucial to confirm pricing directly and understand what is included.
Specific promotional offers are not detailed in the provided customer reviews. However, the park's focus on "short term reservations" and direct online booking suggests competitive daily or multi-night rates. Pricing for a typical night appears to be around $40-$45.80, based on customer feedback. While specific deals aren't highlighted, Y'all Come Back RV emphasizes its aim to provide value. It's always recommended that prospective guests contact the park directly to inquire about current rates, any seasonal discounts, or special offers that might be available for their specific dates or length of stay. - Basic Needs Met: For self-contained RVs, the full hook-ups (water, electric, sewer) provide all the necessary utilities for a comfortable short stay without requiring additional amenities that might increase costs. This makes it a practical choice for those who are self-sufficient.
- Budget-Conscious Travel: While pricing should always be confirmed, the park appears to offer a straightforward, potentially more affordable, option for short-term stays compared to larger resorts with extensive facilities that you might not need for a quick stop.
However, it is vital for Mississippian RVers to manage expectations regarding site conditions and maneuverability, especially for larger rigs or during wet weather. A call ahead to discuss your specific RV and potential site challenges would be highly beneficial. For those who value a quiet, accessible, and friendly place to pull over for a night or two, and are prepared for a more rustic site experience, Y'all Come Back RV could indeed be a convenient and welcoming stop on their Mississippi travels.
Customer Reviews
The owners were very friendly in communications. However the spot we booked for our Rv was not as large as we expected. I booked online for a 39’ fifth wheel and not only was the spot rather small but very hard to back into, especially in the dark. We ended up parking across the road in a bigger spot and that was difficult as well but we fit. The road was essentially wet clay and thankfully our truck had 4x4 otherwise we would have been stuck in the clay on a dark stormy night. Other than getting set up, the views are nice, it’s quiet and was conveniently on our route
Hard to spot in the dark as it's just a driveway off the 98 with a smallish, unlighted sign set back from the road. If you are driving fast you'll miss it. Sites are very unlevel and just dirt, had problems with levelers which sank in the soft soil and made for a difficult night being downhill quite a bit. Don't go down to the end to turn with anything larger than your car or you will get stuck and it's too small even for our 32 foot. I don't know how a bigger rig would do it. We will have to back uphill to get out...remains to be seen if we can or not! Really need improvements to the sites, gravel at least, widening of sites, and more than just a bulldozed strip to park on. In the rain yesterday it was a mud pit. Could even cut the bits of grass so it would look better. $40 for the night and no amenities at all. When I just checked our account she had charged us $45.80 for one night which is extremely over priced for what it was.
This is a new park that is under development. The owners are very kind and thoughtful. It won’t be to long before they get their pull throughs completed and roads dressed up with rock. It will be big rig friendly when they get everything finished. They are committed to building a first class park that caters to travelers and vacationers. We are glad we stayed with them and will be back soon. Good power, water and sewer. This park has great views and very little road noise. Bookmark this park! It’s a keeper!
On our way to Florida and we’d had a really rough day and decided we better stop for the night. I found this small RV Park on Google. Tight getting 35’ travel trailer in, but doable. Small family run park with honor box!
Quite and most beautiful land our family went to visit family that is staying at Y'all Comb Back. Had such a wonderful time unwinding enjoying fresh clean and mostly friendly owners and campers. Also at the fishing pond saw to bald eagles sitting on a perch in center of lake, breath taking.
