Camp hosts were so wonderful. My mom and I camped here for a Mothers Day weekend. Having our firewood and fire pit delivered was so nice. Super clean bath houses! I was sick after day 2 and we had to leave. The owner called to check on us, we felt so cared for! Camp here if you are visiting Charlotte or nearby places.

Overpriced to begin with and when we arrived after driving 12 hours the car tag had a campsite number that was already occupied and didn't even have what we paid for. Now what do we do,! Luckily, an off duty employee noticed us and helped us find the type of site we paid for. I did email and let the management know what happened. Response was "sorry this happened thanks for letting us know." The only bright spot was the off duty gentleman who was very friendly and helpful. We have an expectation of KOA standards after along day of travel and stress of being given the wrong site doesnt bode well. Crossing this one off the list for sure.

Right off the I 77. Managers that were there on our 12 days were very nice and accommodating. Publix, gas station and ABC store (closes at 7) in walking distance. Other shopping nearby. Pool and large sandy play area for kids. There is a miniature golf area, Cornhole and ping pong table. Ask office for the items needed to play games. Laundry room, showers and bathrooms on site. Some concrete spaces and lots of gravel ones. Pretty level. There are a lot of trees. We have a 45 ft long 5th wheel and we had plenty of space. They gave us 2 lots for price of one because of our size. Propane on site and was cheap. Only downside is that they are expensive. 100$ a night ☹️ probably due to the fact that there are no other RV campsites in that area. Have to visit Twin Peaks restaurant if you stay there. We will stay again.

We usually stay at KOA campgrounds because we expect certain standards will be met. This KOA campground falls short in several areas but let me start with a couple of positives: 1. Good location - close proximity to I-77 and Publix grocery store 2. Friendly and helpful staff Here is where the campground falls short: 1. Overpriced - paid $118 for one night with KOA membership discount included. Most other KOA campgrounds charge $70-$80 and provide more value. 2. Roads are too narrow and are in disrepair with numerous pothole 3. Terrible wifi - had difficulty streaming. 4 Very few amenities as compared to other KOAs

This place deserves every bad review it gets. How does it retain its KOA designation?? Roads are narrow, potholed and muddy. We were told we were reserving a site with fill amenities, yet we were assigned a site without sewage. The place was essentially empty and we were paying $75 for one night. When we went back to the office, the woman there said "why do you need sewage when the dump station is free??" What??? The gentleman there quickly gave us another site which had sewage. We are used to high KOA standards and this place doesn't even come close. Stay elsewhere!!
