As of today, I have officially been in my home for one week. I LOVE the peace and privacy. The neighbors are friendly, I feel safe and comfortable and I am absolutely loving it here. The community is not new or fancy. It is older and in the process of being updated however; home is what you make it. It's everyone's responsibility to keep our area clean and well maintained. With that said, I have ZERO regrets about leaving my four bedroom house with huge yard in Houston to come live here. This place is clean, manageable, quiet, peaceful and I LOVE IT. It's truly been a blessing.

**NIGHTMARE**Attempting to move here was the worst experience of my life! We we're told our application was accepted and that the 3 bedroom we needed would be on the lot and ready to live in by mid May. At that point we paid the $1500 down payment and gave notice to our current landlord who then set up another tenant to move in that the start of June. Mid may comes and we we're fed a story about how the rain caused then to not be able to move on our new home yet and they had a 2 bedroom ready we could stay in until our place was ready. I called the leasing agent Austin the day I went to pick up my truck after numerous conversations with him assuring that the place was ready to go. We show up with a truck and some movers and there is no plumbing or electrical outlets in the place.. No counters no toilet no nothing it was an empty vessel. Called Austin who insisted it would be ready the next day so I paid out for a hotel room for my family and I for the night since our old place was already rented and not an option... Again next day nothing had been done. I was fed story after story day after day on day 3 they put us in a run down motel by the airport for 6 days they said it would take to get it ready now. 6 days lost all of our food the hotel had no fridge or microwave even lived off cheap fast food and sandwiches had to pay someone to watch our pet and leave all our things in attended in a place with workers supposedly going in and out. 6 days later NOT A SINGLE THING WAS DONE! Then Austin just stopped returning calls maintanence said it would be another week and although they made me pay rent and lost every penny I had saved I couldn't even get a call. They left us homeless and penniless for another week and a half before I was finally able to get a response and get my deposit back so we could get a different place. Even then I was told they would reimburse me for the truck and movers and the hassle I had went through even accused me of lying about being left homeless then sent me a check for my deposit and $165 extra ...that didn't even cover the gas I had spent checking on my belongings while they left us with nothing. I have never been so mistreated I had patience like no one else would have but they could not get their act together at all. This place is a jok.. Now everything I have is infested with spiders from sitting in that place and we still can't manage to catch up financially even though we had near 5 grand designated for the move it was devoured by gas food housing kennel fees and deposits for utility transfers I had to pay multiple times. Ridiculous I wish this hell on no one.
