As part of the Wisconsin State Park system, High Cliff Family Campground's "promotions or special offers" typically align with the broader policies and initiatives of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), rather than independent campground-specific discounts. The primary "offer" is the inherent value of experiencing a well-maintained state park with diverse recreational opportunities at regulated state park fees.
For Wisconsin residents, purchasing an annual vehicle admission sticker is a highly recommended "promotion" if you plan to visit state parks frequently throughout the year. This sticker provides unlimited entry to all Wisconsin State Parks, Forests, and Trails, offering significant savings compared to daily passes. Reduced rates for annual stickers are also available for senior citizens (65+). While direct camping fee discounts are rare, the DNR occasionally hosts "Free Fishing Weekends" or "State Park Open House" events that waive vehicle admission fees, encouraging greater local participation in outdoor activities.
It's important to note that camping fees for state parks are set by the DNR and vary based on the type of site (e.g., electric, non-electric, group sites) and the season. Any specific offers would be communicated through the official Wisconsin DNR website or their reservation system. Therefore, for the most current information on fees, reservation details, or any system-wide value programs, Wisconsin locals are encouraged to visit the Wisconsin DNR's parks section online or contact the park office directly.
For inquiries about High Cliff Family Campground, campsite reservations, or general information regarding High Cliff State Park, the park office is your primary point of contact. You can reach them through the following details:
- Address: E Family Camp Rd, Menasha, WI 54952, USA (Located within High Cliff State Park)
- For park office and general inquiries, use the High Cliff State Park main number: (920) 989-1106
- For campsite reservations, it is generally recommended to use the Wisconsin DNR's online reservation portal, which can be accessed via the Wisconsin DNR website.
Direct calls to the park office are best for specific questions about amenities, local conditions, or anything not easily found on the DNR website. Remember to plan your visit and book campsites well in advance, especially during peak seasons, as this popular park fills up quickly.

The spacious, treelined campsites provide a cherished sense of privacy and immersion in nature, allowing campers to truly relax and disconnect, a feature highly valued by residents.

Families will particularly appreciate the playground and the safe, natural environment for children to explore. For Wisconsin residents, High Cliff Family Campground represents an affordable and convenient escape into the outdoors. It allows for quick weekend getaways or longer vacations without extensive travel, providing a perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and create lasting family memories. Customer Reviews
I LOVE when campgrounds leave plenty of small trees between the camp sites!
Nice sized sites, not too close together and with treelined buffers around them. Fresh water hydrants throughout, reasonably clean pit toilets, single clean main bathroom with flush toilets and showers. Electric service was good. Useable but slowish Verizon LTE voice and data. The dumpsters by the sanitation station are not convenient to campground. The hiking trails are great and the geology of the Niagara Escarpment is fascinating. Great views of Lake Winnebago, Appleton and Oshkosh can be seen from top of tower.
