Nature's Resort Campground About
Florida, renowned for its diverse landscapes ranging from sun-drenched beaches to lush, natural springs and vibrant wildlife, presents an idyllic setting for RV enthusiasts. For those seeking to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the outdoors while enjoying the comforts of their recreational vehicle, finding the right RV park is key. Nestled within the picturesque "Nature Coast" region, Nature's Resort Campground in Homosassa offers a unique destination for both seasoned RVers and those new to the RV lifestyle, providing a gateway to the serene beauty of this charming coastal area.
Nature's Resort Campground aims to provide a memorable experience for all its guests, whether they are looking for a short weekend escape or an extended stay. For Floridians, its location offers a convenient and accessible option for exploring a different facet of their home state, away from the more bustling tourist hubs. The appeal of an RV park lies in its ability to blend the raw beauty of nature with essential amenities, allowing visitors to truly unwind and reconnect with their surroundings.
It is important for prospective visitors to approach their decision with a well-rounded understanding, considering both the advertised offerings and the experiences shared by previous guests. While Nature's Resort Campground promotes a range of services and features designed to enhance your stay, some recent customer reviews highlight areas where the experience may not consistently meet expectations. For instance, concerns have been raised regarding the condition of rental pontoon boats, with one detailed account mentioning "torn up seats," non-functional radios despite assurances, and safety equipment like fire extinguishers being "a rusty mess and outdated and not even charged." This review concludes with a strong sentiment of disappointment: "we came, we saw, and we won't be back! $350 later."
Furthermore, other feedback points to broader issues with the overall park environment, stating, "DO NOT COME HERE. Total waste of money to stay here, find anywhere else. Might as well park in the city for a similar experience." Specific environmental observations include "Barely any trees around, no grass, surrounding water is not swimmable, the place smells bad, area is not very clean, the springs don’t look anything like in the pictures, totally not as advertised." There was also a report of a guest leaving within 30 minutes and being denied a refund, facing unreturned calls from the management. These insights are crucial for potential visitors to consider as they plan their trip to ensure their expectations align with what the park currently offers.

Customer Reviews
Pre-rented a pontoon boat. Says they come with radio on website and also asked to double-check if we needed to bring a Bluetooth radio and was also told that the boats are new and have radios. Our group gets there only one boat doesn't have torn up seats and they said that one does not run. So it was wet ass from the get go. Told them the radio didn't work and they said none of the boats have radios that they are all broke due to moisture. Okay well we're here and want to go out on the water. The horn also did not work was told there's a whistle that's all you need. Fire extinguisher was a rusty mess and outdated and not even charged we were afraid if we hit a bump too hard it might blow up. Then we run across some other boaters who rented from the same place Nature's resort campground and ask them if they have a radio and yes they do. Also could barely turn the steering wheel, like driving a car with no power steering.So... we came, we saw, and we won't be back! $350 later .
DO NOT COME HERE. Total waste of money to stay here, find anywhere else. Might as well park in the city for a similar experience. Barely any trees around, no grass, surrounding water is not swimmable, the place smells bad, area is not very clean, the springs don’t look anything like in the pictures, totally not as advertised. Did not even stay 30 minutes here. I immediately went to the front office to ask for a refund, but they dismissed me. (I decided to leave and find somewhere else MUCH BETTER to stay.) I called three times, each time was told they’d call me back. They are avoiding me now and have no intention refunding me even though I was lied to and misled when reserving.
Do not do business with Nature Resort. They charged both my friend’s card and mine without permission and refuse to return our hard earned money. The manager avoids taking responsibility and won’t return a call or address their wrongful actions. Stay away.
Reserve the First month, then deposit a second month before knowing what was to come. showed up for the first night went to the office told them I was here. I said I would not be staying a second month. I would like my deposit back.. they said oh we’ll put it towards Electric bill. I said no electricity is included. They laughed at me. so I went to park. Holy shit this place do tight no space to breathe. they call it a resort nothing is included no electricity no cable, which is stated on their website, people check this place out before you come or you will regret it. also Wi-Fi if you call it that ,back from day one it hasn’t really worked, in and out.Friday night steak dinner at the bar I ordered medium rare, I got raw steak could not eat. I do not believe the steak was cooked at all.My wife ordered medium. She got well done waitress never came around. Asked us how anything was pretty bad for 50 bucks. Will not be back to this place
We have camped here for years not anymore. No wi fi no spectrum no nothing... Alot of the people who lived there have moved out. The resort fees are a joke... the only thing they have changed is they put a pickle ball court in. They took the water slide out and put up a sign stating that they will be putting in a splash pad. Pretty sure resort fees are going up. Asked what the resot fees included they say the pickle ball court and the park. They tell you to stop by office and register you boat or golf cart trailer and pay more. What happens is people come after 5 office closed so they do not pay.. they say no go carts and a few live there and ride them. The ants where over the top.
