Pine Oaks About

Living in Florida offers a unique blend of sunshine, vibrant communities, and diverse housing options. For many, the dream of an affordable, comfortable, and well-located home becomes a reality in a mobile home park. These communities provide a distinctive lifestyle, often fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and offering amenities that enhance daily living. If you're exploring housing solutions in the Jacksonville area, understanding what a mobile home park truly offers can open up new possibilities.

A mobile home park, sometimes referred to as a manufactured home community, is a residential area where individual lots are leased, and residents typically own their mobile or manufactured homes. These communities are designed to provide a cohesive living environment, often with shared facilities and a management team dedicated to maintaining the property and supporting its residents. They represent a viable and often more economical alternative to traditional stick-built homes, especially in a dynamic market like Florida.

We're here to introduce you to Pine Oaks, a mobile home park situated in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida. This article aims to provide a comprehensive and factual overview of Pine Oaks, helping you determine if it aligns with your housing needs and lifestyle preferences. We'll delve into its location, the services it offers, its key features, and what makes it a suitable option for locals seeking a convenient and community-oriented place to call home.

Pine Oaks is conveniently located at 4259 Philips Hwy, Jacksonville, FL 32207, USA. This address places it strategically within Jacksonville, offering residents easy access to a variety of local amenities and services. Philips Highway is a major thoroughfare, ensuring smooth commutes and connectivity to other parts of the city. For those who rely on public transportation, accessibility might vary, but the general location suggests good road network access for private vehicles.

Its position in Jacksonville means residents are never far from essential services like grocery stores, pharmacies, and medical facilities. The area surrounding Philips Highway is known for its diverse retail and dining options, providing convenience for daily errands and leisure activities. Being in Jacksonville also means proximity to the city's employment hubs, educational institutions, and popular attractions, making it an appealing location for individuals and families alike. The accessibility of Pine Oaks to major roadways contributes significantly to its appeal, allowing residents to navigate the greater Jacksonville area with ease, whether for work, school, or recreation.

While specific, detailed lists of every service offered are often best obtained directly from the property management, mobile home parks like Pine Oaks typically provide a range of services designed to enhance the living experience for their residents. Based on general industry practices and common expectations for such communities, you can anticipate services that contribute to a well-maintained and supportive environment. These may include:

  • Lot leasing for manufactured homes.
  • Community management and administrative support.
  • Maintenance of common areas, including landscaping and infrastructure within the park.
  • Waste management and recycling services (though residents typically manage their own waste disposal schedules).
  • Support for resident inquiries and concerns, as highlighted by one resident's positive experience with property managers being "incredibly patient and accommodating."
  • Utilities hookups for individual homes (residents are usually responsible for their own utility bills).

It's important to note that the extent and nature of services can vary, and prospective residents should always confirm specific details with Pine Oaks management.

Mobile home parks often boast features that create a distinct living environment, and Pine Oaks is no exception. While direct, comprehensive lists of features are best verified through a visit or direct inquiry, based on the nature of mobile home communities and some resident feedback, we can infer certain highlights. These typically contribute to the overall appeal and functionality of the park:

  • Community-Oriented Environment: Mobile home parks often foster a strong sense of community, providing opportunities for neighbors to connect and interact.
  • Affordable Housing Options: One of the primary attractions of mobile home parks is the potential for more affordable homeownership or rental options compared to traditional housing, especially in a desirable location like Jacksonville.
  • Dedicated Property Management: As evidenced by a resident review, the presence of responsive property managers who are willing to work with residents during challenging times can be a significant highlight. This indicates a focus on resident support and problem-solving.
  • Individual Home Lots: Residents typically have their own dedicated lots, offering a sense of personal space and autonomy, often with small yards or outdoor areas.
  • Potential for Home Remodeling: While some older homes might require attention, the mention of remodeling efforts within the park indicates ongoing investment and potential for residents to acquire updated homes, offering modern amenities and aesthetics. This suggests a commitment to improving the living standards within the community.
  • Established Infrastructure: As an existing park, Pine Oaks would have established infrastructure for utilities and roads, providing foundational living necessities.

I've lived here for almost a year and a half now and have recently come up on hard times and the property managers have been incredibly patient and accomodating of my situation. Even when I've called them multiple times during the week, they are always willing to talk to me and do what they can to work things out in my favor.

a year living there, the first thing they cut the grass on 2 occasions, my refrigerator was damaged and if they changed it, they brought a dirty and very used one but it worked at the time, all dirty and neglected, now they are remodeling a house from the 60s and 70 to sell it for $ 27 to $ 25 thousand dollars is horrible, the administration is disgusting and when it rains you cannot go out since the water is everywhere and you cannot go out

I have lived here almost eleven years. If you want a nice place to live come here. Nice mixture of young couples with children to older retired adults. Rent is very reasonable. Small increases every few years. Home owners got rent increase two years ago. Long time since renters have. Everyone’s friendly. I have the best neighbors all around me. Cat friendly ( if you are looking for a furry friend you will see one.) Walmart is right across the street. Within walking distance you have several restaurants. All together a great place to enjoy quiet, peaceful day. Nina the manager. Very courteous and helpful if you have a problem. Will meet you on a walk if you decide to live here Carol Davis Garcia. Owned by slum lords who have other slum lords managing the place. If you end up living here don't ever expect to get your security deposit back, every piece of trash that runs that place will tell you straight up you aren't getting it. Every time I encountered the manager she was clearly tweaking on some kind of drugs and was very confrontational. Hope everyone who is involved with running this place gets aids and kills themselves.

Quiet neighborhood. Went by because I was looking to rent a bigger cheaper place. Ended up not feeling very comfortable with the staff or the properties. Almost felt like leaving right away. Definately cheaper and bigger but the properties do need a lot of work on. Did not rent any. Just got to rent a house for a few hundred dollars more but definately better.
