5 stars for the campground: decent pit toilet, spacious sites, easy access to some great hiking trails, peaceful site most of the time.......0 stars for the people there on our second night, they brought a chainsaw to cut firewood on an 84 degree day and completely shattered the peace and quiet....who does that at a lovely primitive campground???????

Apr 18, 2025 · Jason MahoneyBeautiful. Each campsite is very large. Each had picnic table and a pole with hooks for hanging lantern. Vaulted toilet
Nov 18, 2024 · Paulette Daniel$5 per night! First come - first served. Self check-in. "Nice" vault toilet. No water. About 10 sites with a about 10 separate, bear-proof garbage receptacles. Far out of the way. Scenic road is beautiful but a bit of a chore to drive - narrow road, sharp turns and steep inclines mean you'll have to shift down to about 3rd gear to get up them. Very, VERY limited Verizon service (no signal in daytime, but late at night you MIGHT get a webpage to load in about 3-5 minutes.
