I've lived here for 2 years. Its mostly quiet. My neighbors are great, always helpful, and friendly. People always wave as you go by. Yes the lot rent is higher than it was when I moved in, but other parks are higher. Yes they do let you know what needs attention on your lot, but that's what keeps the areas looking clean and tidy. Management is understanding and always there to help from my experience.
I am a resident of Village Glen. If you are looking for a 55 and over community you should definitely visit. We have a resident Park Manager, Ms Farmer, who has been here for 10 years. Ms. Farmer is very kind and goes out of way to ensure her residents are safe and happy. She is always responsive and takes the time necessary to address any issues a resident may have. She works closely with her residents and keeps an open door and direct line of communication at all times. The lot rent is comparable to other well-kept communities in the area and it is much less costly than renting an apartment. The pool is pristine, the clubhouse is immaculate, and the grounds are maintained beautifully. Village Glen is a must see if you're in the market for a manufactured home.
55+ community with a diverse population. The residents are friendly and this is a pretty big park. The major downside to this park is the extremely high lot rent, so large in fact that a lot of the residents are seeking neighborhoods with lower lot rent as most of them are retired and on fixed incomes
Horrible mobile home park high lot rent. Too many rules that are only in the interest of the park. If you have a family you wish to have visit they can't park near you mobile home and the parking area is too far to walk. Pool is always going out of service. Always forced to power wash trailer even if it's mot dirty if not charged and written up.
This is a very nice facility and they take care of my family member. But getting in touch with someone there to schedule a visit is nearly impossible. I'd imagine there should be a dedicated phone operator to handle people who want to see their loved ones. This is ridiculous.
