$10 for tent camping can't be beat. There are quite a few bathrooms spread out though the tent camping areas they are basic pit toilets the one near us the motion light wasn't working so we just made sure to bring a flashlight. Very nice shower house with private showers include a toilet in each. For my picky kids who was scared of the pit toilet we would just drive up or walk to the shower house. The playground was in good shape firewood was only $10 for a large enough bundle to last us to cook dinner, have smores and a fire until we turned in for the night and cook breakfast the next morning. The park ranger was super nice and accommodating. We picked up a screw in our tire somewhere we were fortune enough he was willing to use his air compressor to fill up our tire. We were able to make it home unload and get to the tire shop because of his help!

Absolute gem for a quick stop or a full stay. We were heading west and decided to stop in after finding it on the map as one of the nearby options. Was a bit worried about first come first served but there were plenty of spots when we rolled in around 4pm. Clean, well maintained, and far enough away from the highway that there was very little noise. People seem super friendly and all of the guests were well behaved. Like us, many of them needed sleep on their way somewhere else. Pro tip - head to the furthest spots away from check-in. They're the quietest, have full hookups and are newly installed. You're not getting a lot of privacy as the spots are close together, but it's rare to find a new, well maintained place, with full hookups for $30 a night. Electric only sites are $20.

Very nice park! We rented a paddle boat but ended up having to come back after half an hour due to severe weather. They refunded our money since we weren't able to go the full hour. The park is well kept and the people are friendly! Looking forward to returning soon.
